Unnatural inbound links Message Today

Well logged into google webmaster tool and received this message for 2 of my sites. Funny thing is these 2 sites I never did any back links and didnt pay anyone to do any back links. I do know these are the 2 sites that were copied by someone else on different domains. Im wondering if this has to do with negative seo? I checked my traffic and so far I dont see any difference and I still rank high for certain keywords I have been checking each month.

So I went into the webmaster tool and checked both sites to see what sites are linking to my sites, one site has under 400 links to it and my other site has under 3000 links to it. I reviewed the top sites pointing to my sites and dont see anything spammy except the top sites linking to both sites are a web to thumbnail site and a competition ranking site. I also downloaded the latest link csv file for each site, the latest links were the first week of this month. Confused to come up with an idea of what is considered a spam site that would of triggered this message from google. Any suggestions? From what I read so far they are just penalizing the ranking that is coming from the particular site these links are coming from and not my whole site.

And yes I know, I shouldnt rely on google for traffic but these 2 sites are my biggest earners and all the traffic is organic and majority comes from google. I would like to make sure these sites dont get penalized.

Any suggestions out there? I have been monitoring the sites all day and from what I can see traffic is still the same and earnings are still the same. Should I not worry at this point and perhaps move forward and actually try to build legitimate back links? Like I said I havent done any back linking at all, everything has just happened organically.
