How I Get My Articles to the 1 Page of Google Without Using Article Directories - Free Method

Today I will share a secret and free technique I use to get many of my articles or product reviews to the first page of Google.

This method is about using Document Sharing Sites.
These sites usually have high trust in Google, and also get high rankings.

Just sign up for a free account and upload your articles to get started.
The only differene compared to ordinary article directories is that you write down your articles or product reviews on a word or open office document, and then upload it to their servers.

You can add a clickable link at the top of the article too, not just at the bottom.

Remeber to add the keywords you want to rank for in the title and description when you upload the document, the title and description gets indexed in the search engines.

The benefits are that it is free, and there is no review process.

My favourite document sharing sites are:

Scribd.com
Slideshare.net
Docstoc.com

They allow you to add clickable links in your articles as well, don't just add too many.

Remember to not spam these websites with bad content, then they may get slapped by Google. Just add quality content or good quality product reviews.

Many times you can get 1 page rankings in Google if you choose long tail keywords in your title and description. You could also add backlinks to your uploaded documents from for example dofollow bookmarking websites, which could help increase the rankings too.

You could also search in Google for different long tail keywords that you are interested in, and see if any of the Document Sharing Sites above appears in the search results. Then you could try to compete with these keywords too.

    Hi,

I'm using the same technique for direct traffic, but... I hadn't thought of it for SEO purposes! That's an interesting idea, making the documents themselves rank...

These types of sites don't just have to be reserved to long tail keywords. You can rank some very difficult keywords with these types of properties as well. In fact, there is a wso from someone that makes a very good living doing just that. He has two different properties ranked for the terms "how to make money" "make money online" and other very difficult terms. the idea is to well optimize your submissions and then throw some good backlinks at them. works like a champ.

I agree 100%. I have been doing this for a while and it works like gangbusters. Once you

submit your article go to pingomatic . com and ping it so the search engines will pigk them

up. The article directories serve as great backlinks themselves.

That is a good one and I vouch for it. I have used it on one of my two month old site and within two months it had a pr of 3. Just used fiverr to do it.

But I know for best results, it is better done by ones self if you do have the time and you are working on a very good site you care for its reputation. I do not know the quality of docs submitted by the guys at fiverr.

Software sharing sites are also a good addition to that. They work like doc sharing sites.

I would like more info about how to submit to these sites. Do you have your links and headings in your article before you upload it to one of these sites, or do you have a chance to put them in afterward, along with any headings you want to use?

Also, is your email address made public?

Anyone who has done this before, please answer. Thanks!

In most cases if you do it right, you can rank a lot of keywords in about 2 minutes with slideshare. the harder keywords are ranked the same way "on page" as it were, but take some good quality backlinks and then they'll rank. It's mostly about the optimization. Most of the slides I've ranked are 200 words or maybe a little less; and the descriptions are usually 20-40 words without the url. You can do the same thing with other properties, but slideshare you can rank in literally minutes for a whole lot of keywords. It also matters what types of keywords you are going after. If you do a quick google search for the keyword, you can tell in about a minute about how fast it will take you, and how many backlinks, if any at all, you will need to build to take the top ten spots. It is also generally a good idea if you want the ranks to stick, to build a few backlinks at your slides even if they show up really quickly. They will tend to slide away over time if you don't. If you see similar properties in the top ten, marketing type properties, you will be able to hit that keyword fairly quickly in most cases. If you don't, then it will take you longer. I know and learned from someone who is very, very good at this method. He has two different slide shows ranked for two make money keywords that most people think are unattainable, but its' really not that tough. a few thing to keep in mind:

these things seem to help,in testing:
(i even put my keyword in the email address i sign up with. Not sure if that helps, but i do
main keyword phrase ( or two) in the title.
main keyword phrase (or alternate) as the title header of each slide.
main or one keyword at least ONCE per slide. If not twice.
    Links made with main keyword
I have had luck with as few as 100 and as many as 500 words of content in slides.
main keyword phrases (at least twice) in the description. again, i have put description word counts as few as 20-30 (not including the url) and as many as 100. like you say above.
best luck with backlinks i have seen include high quality bookmarks and high pr blog comments.
This is an excellent tool to use in two scenarios i have found:
-getting people on a slide show that is an affiliate review and /or building a list.
-getting leads for seo service, and /or closing leads. If someone contacts you about seo, and you find out their niche and keywords, and then rank a slideshow their info and call them back, you can pretty much count on them signing up

MattJay - Good indepth info. I can tell by reading your in detail directions that I did not do this justice when I submitted to the doc/slide sharing.
I just thought....yeah probably something else that's a waste of time and through something up there fast.
Definitely going back on the list for content distribution.
