been stuck in my tracks for days, KEYWORD RESEARCH

Hello everyone,

This took me a really long time to write, so thanks to those who read, really appreciate it.

I've finally come to my senses and realised that the best way for me to get stuck in is to start a small niche website, advertise afillate links around quality information, offer a product build a list and market my list.

However I have hit a brick wall with KEYWORD RESEARCH, and i have been stuck in my tracks for days.

All i want is to learn is;
How to find a niche that i can rank on page one of google for
more information on working hard to try and get to rank on page one of google
how to utilize google adword tool correctly for this stage of my journey
use google adword tool to find a keyword rich domain
and learn how to deal with keyords to rank a WordPress sites keywords

Guys as you can see im really stuck and crying out for help, i need to become adept at everything ive mentioned to make my dream a success. once i can achieve these goals I know i will be literally flying in building my first on-line "business"

Im a total frustrated and confused newb that really needs someones help here, so thanks for any help whatsoever in advance.

    I am not much help but i feel your pain. I have built a few sites over the
    last month or so. 2 of them I worked really hard on even though I am still
    really new an still learning what to do. anyhow those 2 sites are absolutely
    NOWHERE!! LOL!

    to make it worse I threw up a quick site one night when I had one too many
    beers. I did the basic layout of the site and wrote 1 post. a week later it is
    #7 on page 1, hahahahahaha. totally crazy.

    it makes sense a little as there are only about 800 searches a month but the
    competition was still around 90,000. so basically crazy stuff....

      Hey there,

      I also have days like that, when you feel like you're stuck on keyword research. You just need to focus on a niche, then narrow it down to something specific, before you run this through keyword research tools. I used Google Adwords, Market Samurai, and Cyber Niche Finder. Sometimes I just use one, other times I combine them. Best of luck to you! Keep us updated.

      I noticed in section 2. Buyer Keywords. "Here is the list of 85 buyer keywords:"
      Was there supposed to be a link there? Didn't see those.

    First, stop reading outdated ebooks or whatever it is that put these ideas/questions in your head.

    Forget everything you think you want to know & figure out where niche traffic hangs out. Match a product/service to the traffic. The rest is trial & error testing/optimizing.

    Go where the moneys at. Don't go for low comp keywords with LOW monthly traffic.

    Go for long tail / low comp / 5,000+ searches a month keywords. These types of keywords are easy easy easy to rank for.

    Here try this. Go to the google keyword tool. Find a long tail / low comp / 5,000+ a month keyword thats in the HEALTH niche. Go to google and find about 5 images about that specific health problem/topic. Go to animoto.com and make a 30 second video with some call to action text and the images you found. Export the video to youtube. Make the title of the video the keyword ONLY. write a short description including the keyword inside. Make the tags of the video that keyword only. After you done that head on over to clickbank and find a product in the health section about the niche. Get the link and head on over to bit.ly Now make it a short URL and put that same URL on top of the description saying something like "Vist: bit.ly/blahablah for more information"

      What a confusing advice! You have put everything upside down - the first thing you should do is to decide on a niche then find products and only then do all the stuff you described (keyword resarch + content writing + video creation & submission etc.). If there are no hot selling products in a niche it's pointless to create content, videos and wesbite around it. You will never make money this way.

      Also, 5000+ "long-tail, low competition keywords" - you must be joking. 5000 exact searches is NOT a long tain keyword. Most of such keywords do have a very high competition already, so the chances to rank for them are very low. You are much better off to target dozens of 100--500 exact macth keywords and rank for them instead of wasting time in looking for rare gems with 5000+ like you said.

        I gave him a no BS quick way to start making money. Also i find about 5 of these "rare gems" just today.

    Try looking at products on amazon, compiling a list then running that list through googles keyword tool looking for "exact" match that have "low" competition and like someone else said at least 500 monthly searches.

    Google will give you ideas similar to the keywords you enter, just remember and try focus on "buying keywords"
