Over 8000 REAL Unique Visitors a Day without Google? YES!

There are way too many people here, on Warrior forum too in general that are wayyy too hung up and focused on SEO traffic from the search engines, especially from the almighty Google...

well, the other day I was doing some experimenting and testing in my "secret lab" as i always do, and the results have been absolutely incredible...

as you can see, over 8000 REAL unique visits in 1 day, and today (06/03/2013) the results are continuing.

That steady over 100 unique visitors a day is all from Google/search engines, and that HUGE spike is the viral traffic technique.

and yes... being an SEO genius, the site is number 1 on Google too

This is the result and power of viral traffic implemented the "right way". This technique involved "legally stealing" traffic from social media sites such as Twitter, FB, Blogger and Tumblr. And yeah traffic is targeted as reflected in my earnings from yesterday on the site.

Tests are on-going though. So i may update this thread.

The message of this thread: think outside the box and do not rely on Google so much. There is SO MUCH untapped traffic out there, its ridiculous.

I hope you now see the potential out there.

Questions? Comments? Sure, fire away

Well a detailed explanation of what you exactly did wouldn't be a bad idea

    • What traffic source did you end up getting your users from?
  • You are just boasting man. What kind of response do you expect without giving any details???

P.S. I think I got it - you just create provocative title for a post empty of value. Don't think it's smart.

It amazes me that he doesn't have a WSO in his signature.

  • Although something from your site getting viral is a very good thing to happen to your website, but riding the viral traffic is not a steady source, and also, how often do you think you can ride the viral traffic?
  • How much traffic did you get the next few days after that, on Thursday, on Friday, and so on...

Seems like that virality only lasted a day... or two.
  • Yea looks like it lasted a single day. No details. Annoying.
  • Search traffic converts 10 times better than viral traffic.
  • I can go on Fiverr get 28598325982359823 views in one day for $5. No big deal.
    • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • Give the guy a break. He'll probably update the thread when his mom finishes cleaning the "secret lab."
    • [ 7 ] Thanks
  • Looks like the kind of stats you might get from one decent catch on a breaking news story or a trending fad that you catch just right. Whether you can monetize that traffic well? well ... I'll take your word for it. Whether you can repeat that day in day out without a lot of prep and research? You tell me?

Looks very similar to Google News site stats that pick up on a news story first and become the authority for "that day". How do you make this a long term strategy? Is it a long term strategy? Can you clean up with massively targeted traffic of this sort of volume again and again? Can you show the results here?
    • [1] reply
    • Let's deal with the funny part first. OP says he gets
8,000 visitors a day without google, then brags about
being #1 on google. Okay, I guess that term gets
no friggin search traffic....so one MUST conjure up
      some traffic...

Here's how I have increased my adsense earnings getting
      targeted visitors using FB.

I joined 10 FB groups in my niche. I post one link to 2
groups each day from my dot coms. On the 6th day,
      I just repeat the process.

You have to find groups that are very active, in your
niche, allow urls, and have thousands of members.

The key is to not spam the heck out of them, and, above
all, avoid groups that get hit with out of niche spam junk.

I would never pay for an ad on FB. Don't need to. I was
never sold on FB until recently...

Granted, I have professional and semi-professional niches.
I am not into best wii game reviews, or best samsung galaxy
      phone for left handed girls.

      If people only knew...

      Paul

  • Traffic from "secret lab"
  • I love viral methods they are so practical and easy to implement I do them errydayyyyyy =))))))))))
  • I am just floored that ranking for a term that gets 100 searches a day makes you a SEO genius (I ain't never met one of those even looking in the mirror). Who knew it was that easy? I thought you had to rank for some serious competitive words first.

    • Wonder if he is the guy posting his obscurred links on the Yahoo stock message boards for the hot stocks of the day, drawing in hundreds of daytraders looking for merger or stock upgrade news. He did say "legally stealing".

Hmmmm...now that gives me an idea.
  • Seriously? SEO genius? There's nothing "viral" about this. You received a little over 8k unique visitors, that's really nothing to brag about.

Agreed! Why boast if you can't back it up?

    ROFL!

For those people interested in reading about a real "viral campaign" I ran a few years back please check out the case study I wrote here: Link Bait SEO Virginity Lost To The Montauk Monster?

If you're lazy and just want the CliffsNotes see below:

    1) Campaign featured on the front page of AOL, MSM, and Yahoo! simultaneously on May 14th 2009.

    2) Target KW / Campaign Title featured at #2 on Google Trends for the day.

    3) Coverage on national television, newspapers, and mainstream media.

@TheFBGuy: So that's my experiment from my "secret lab". Does this make me an "SEO genius" too? Did I think outside the box? Enjoy!
  • Also, what the hell bar graph is that? Looks like something I can make through Microsoft Paint.
    • [1] reply

    • That is a StatCounter graph. I've been using them to track my stats for 6, 7 years. For a quick boo of what's happening on my sites, I prefer this over GA.

OP is clearly saying think outside the box for alternative traffic sources, even If he was vague on the subject.

There's defiantly legit ways to get alternative targeted traffic.

I posted this a while back as an extra traffic source & have come to the conclusion that most people here on WF are only interested in BS money claim threads, fake screenshots, etc...

Transparency, giving back? Screw all that, do some work for yourselves.
    • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • Facebook and Twitter are an INCREDIBLE source for traffic. You can easily get thousands of visitors if you are working with them in the right way. For me, it is much harder with Tumblr -> I can't get more than 50 visitors per day (targetted visitors!)
    • [1] reply
    • First, I am a very busy guy... i don't spent that much time on the Warrior forum like some of you, so excuse my late replies

hahahaha, I didn't expect to come and be amused... some of you guys are funny, although I do sense some jealousy from some of you. I did not create this thread to "boast" and I certainly did not create this thread to make any one of you "jealous".

the main point of this thread is to "think outside the box" and not be so reliant on Google and the search engines, not to share anything with you, but if I do share... I would update the thread as i mentioned. Too many people here have absolutely no idea how to get traffic, and this thread was to open their eyes to the many possibilities out there

looks like many of you here are stricken with the "i want it now" syndrome, quit that mentality if you want to be successful

so to address a few posts. responding in kind...

nik0: agreed, but like i said i would "i may update the thread again"

don't need a signature either, but if that's how you make your "living by having a sig on a forum", then rock on, lol.

impulse: as i said, Tumblr, FB, Twitter, and blogger.

Velant: read what i just said above, but in regards to reactions... who knows? anything of quality being posted usually gets ignored. people here usually prefer spammy methods. anything worthwhile never gets implemented

tech84: yes it's not steady... but it doesn't need to be. I just got more traffic in one day from viral traffic and made more money in that one day, than the "little temporary steady" traffic from Google. Viral traffic is a bit like a launch, you get the most sales in the initial launch when traffic is high.

csa_dummy: yes, the virality has dropped off, but still way more than search traffic... all i have to do is do it again to have huge spikes

TheProgrammer: nice signature links... i wonder what you and nik0 would do if the warriorforum went done

GGpaul: Not sure about your reading skills, but I did say this is REAL traffic. Don't waste your $5 with Fiverr traffic, its all fake...

and yes the weird graph bar thingy is "Statcounter", google it... been around years, stop living under a rock.

PaulBaker: For your information... I am actually traveling right now, my current location is EUROPE (from Canada). But of course i turned the space i have into a secret lap here too

      DPM70: stay tuned

Mike Anthony: mike... my "genius" has nothing to do with this particular keyword/site... take your glasses off. Think. I didn't say I was an SEO genius because I ranked an easy keyword, nothing to be floored about

aygabtu: hahahaha, i swear i have no idea what you are talking about!

Nicky Papers: same response as Mike, and yes, I am an SEO genius.

and have you no shame advertising your site? Jeez.. lol, people don't "check out his site".

anyway, some of you should be honored that i share anything here. i have no time or need to make you jealous. when i post, it means its important. But stay stuned.. subscribe to this thread. This is "on-going" i said.

again... "think outside the box" and stop relying so much on Google and the little bread crumbs of traffic it throws your way, there is A LOT of traffic out there

Edit: shout out to Yukon, agreed!

  • LOL is this Guru audition week at WF? What does the winner get? Ten free WSOs, a War Room membership and a developer copy of Optimize Press?
    • [2] replies
    • Mike Anthony: hmmm you can be very annoying and stubborn at times, it's just like you to engage in worthless debates even after being corrected.

i don't need to draw and spell everything out for you to see that i did not mean to imply "i am a genius because i ranked 1 site", i am not a fool.

if you are interested in checking out what updates i have, subscribe to the thread. i have no time to quarrel with you...

and no, you will not see a "sig" from me, don't worry, but i do see one from you... the irony, hahaha

i have nothing to sell or created income claims, this is legitimate folks, relax... bookmark the thread if you want to keep on eye on it. it's really that simple.

Edit: you know as well as i do, how people are obsessed with SEO or the millions of threads asking "how to get traffic", this thread is to again help those people see that there are many opportunities out there. Not saying I am the first to anything, etc, etc and all the irrelevant things you said
      • [2] replies
    • Well it's kinda funny you mention this, I thought I was a shoe in for guru of the week, and as you can see I'm in need of a war room membership, you can keep the WSOs though.
  • could you kids cut the crap and face the reality

A lesson to anyone who posts something like this in the future (myself included):

If you're going to start a thread boasting how RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME you are, it might be a good idea to support it at least a little bit, instead of throwing up a screenshot with nothing else to support it.

You probably would have received a lot more positive feedback had this been about HOW you used viral media strategies to get over 8000 visitors in that one day.

People on this forum are so used to seeing a hyped up title, and a bogus screenshot that means nothing that eventually leads to a "Okay so here's the complete WSO on how I did it! ... that threads like this are NOT well received imo.
    • [1] reply
    • Everything you just said is true, but 90% of this forum needs a lesson in maturity. You don't always have to be sarcastic or insult someone. Should he have backed up his claims about the 8,000 visitors with actual proof? Yes. Do we really need to have this thread fill up with comments on why he didn't? HELL NO.
      • [1] reply
  • I think it's better if we stop attacking the OP over and over again.
Let's be at least a bit more kind and see what he has to show us.

After all he is not selling his info to us.
    • [1] reply
    • Nothing to do with being kind. I get accused rightfully or wrongfully all the time of being arrogant but sheesh if I ever stepped up and claim I was a "SEO genius" and when I post "people should be honored" because what I say is important I would say I deserved everything I got back.

You and Nest trying to defend that is totally ridiculous in my book. I say that straight up with no malice because I consider Nest a friend but this poster is just way over the top. I really don't get both of your point in calling the board and not the Op into question for ridiculous statements.
      • [1] reply
  • "Legally Stealing" I like that
  • Subscribed. Now don't let me down brother.

I figure you'll either provide something I feel honored to read or you will provide some good free entertainment. Both are of value as far as I'm concerned.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • How exactly are you "pulling traffic" from FB and Twitter? And how can you get that in a focused niche? And then, how can we do that?
    • [1] reply
    • Mike Anthony: you sure are on a roll, aren't you? Lol. Good job hijacking a thread as usual. Well, I will let you continue being on this roll... like i told you i have no time to quarrel with you and put you in your place.

rather than focusing on running your business, you are on here daily nitpicking and looking for arguments over the silliest things, such as: "OMG! he said he is an SEO genuis? That is blasphemy! How dare he!" hahaha

I wonder why? i suppose... i don't blame you since Warrior Forum is a huge part of your "business". and tell me, how much traffic is that sig of yours getting? 10 unique visitors a day? HAHAHAHA. same goes for all of you to be honest.

      Yukon: hahaha, noted.

      nik0: Good!

On another note, AND WORDS OF WISDOM: thanks to a few select individuals who clearly have the "i want it now syndrome" and lack reading skills as i clearly said i may update the thread again and that this was on-going, I will keep this to myself for now and not waste anymore of my time.

Teachers, mentors, masters, etc... they do not reveal everything "now". That "i want it now" mentality really won't get you guys far.

      ...

most people have been scammed, lied too so much that you enter threads with nothing but doubt, fear and scarcity, which is understandable. But keep the conclusions to a minimum. Not everyone here cares about WSOs, sig links, and all that stuff.

however, for those of you know it alls like Mike Anthony and others: learn to enter threads with an open mind, with a cup half full or empty and you just might learn something.

If you had patience like business people, you may have learned a thing or two

it's suffice to say based on the comments here, most of you can only day dream about getting 8000 unique targeted visitors in 1 month, well, i did it 1 DAY... i am in big leagues (boasts)

for now, i won't waste time posting in this thread. i am barely active here as it is running a real business independent of sig links on a forum, or Google

      Much Love,

  • Let me guess: The traffic spike is the result of getting a link on the front page of Reddit.com?
  • This thread is a complete waste of time.

You could have summed up your entire post by saying "think outside the box and use facebook". Awesome. We all learned a lot here. But instead you try to doctor it up and twist facts right in public.

Not to mention, that bs about people being "jealous", demonstrates a clear lack of professionalism and emotional intelligence.

You're the one who came here to boast and add no substance or value. Lets talk about what you actually did do.

    You talk about:

    1) Being an SEO genius.
    2) The incredible power of viral traffic
    3) Secret lab techniques
    4) "Consistent results" when your data clearly shows the
    5) How people are jealous because you offered to ANSWER questions, then the first person >>ASKED a question<<, and you come back refusing to answer while impying that we're all jealous. That makes a lot of sense. Just because a few people rightfully called you out on your bad form and bad data, that somehow makes us jealous.

For a normal, analytical, dual hemisphere thinking homo sapien, the only rational conclusions to reach are that:

You're inexperienced. You're trying to flaunt off data and twist it into some mind bending conclusion that you know what you're doing. When your analysis of the data clearly proves that you can't interpret data in the first place.

You don't know how to address criticism in a public forum. Calling people jealous.. when their minds have just been warped into your twisted reality of granduer and self delusions.

Offering to answer questions, then refusing to answer all questions because a couple people challenged your data... can't really think of a worse reaction than that.

At this point, it appears to me that your credibility has just been shit on... most ironically by your own self.

But, there is a good part to all of this. Your name is easy to remember. And you've done a great job branding your name so people don't forget it.

This way, next time you make a thread on here, I can guess that myself, and a lot of people, won't even give it a second glance.

Thats some impressive "viral" marketing you accomplished here.

    -Red

ps. Get a statistics book from the library and please learn what the word "consistent" means.
    • [2] replies
  • I know, I did actually consider that before I posted.

The thing is, when you're bitching, you actually think your being the most objective person in the thread.
  • just wait till he puts up a wed to wed screen shot of traffic, then it'll be a put up or shut up thread for the op.
  • This has turned into a war zone... all I have to say is congratulations for thinking outside the box. Look forward to your update.
