Hello

My questions is doe it take time a time lag too process backlinks and there value that will then reflect your search engine rankings... not talking about merely indexing.
Im trying to rank for a niche but the top website are senuked blasted spun duplicate content. and i mean pages 1 to 10 are just complete and utter spam... they aren't even using the software to hide footprints or be discrete about it.
The number 1 website has 30k back links from either irrelevant blogs with loads of outbound links....... or from senuke very little spun articles.
Anyway apparently looking at these web 2.0 blogs that are dominating they have been around for around 2 years untouched by google penalties.

My website however despite having as many relevant and non duplicate content or spun backlink is doing really badly and despite everything i try just seem to be stuck on page 10 highest i got was page 5 at one time. Strangely however my blogs that point to the website are now outranking my main website.
Is google absolutely garbage really? honestly? Im starting to think penguin panda doesn't even exist... the only penalties that happen are manual.

Or because i have started the website only a couple MONTHS ago (months though now days or weeks....) google is yet to process the website fully and the backlinks? but that being said i have no idea how this new blog got on page 1 for a enemy website.. and according to ahrefs it has only 3 irrelevant backlinks... i know ahrefs might of missed something but i hardly doubt a spun 1 article blog is going to have anything else... and this blog is new. what on earth.....

Any advise?

any one been in a similar situation?

Oh yeah and lastly the top website for the keyword isnt the one thats been spamming but a website that is pr 4 quite old but has totally garbage backlinks.. basically they just get 1 backlink from a different web directory each day... apart from a 3 youtube videos and maybe a high pr article website and 1 pr 4 website.......wich maybe its main backlinks that it...

It seems getting a position on google is pure luck?

anyway hope people can tell me what happening

thanks

  • It takes time for Google to detect your backlinks. They have robots that crawl then report it to "G". Some take longer than others to show up.
  • Obviously it always take time for google to process backlinks.
  • In short, yes. It takes time for the links to be found by google, and it takes time for the link "juice" to pass on to your site and affect your rankings positively
  • Google takes time to detect backlinks, links created on high authority sites like warrior forum, stumble upon are considered very fast by Google.
  • yeah i know google needs to find the backlinks but what about the time it takes for the backlink to have a impact on your rankings?

Keep in mind Google has servers/bots all over the world & they're most likely not all looking at the same web pages.

It takes time to find all your links, considering the backlink page has to be crawled after the link is live.

If you have any links that you think would be strong for SEO you can look at the Google Cache (text version) page for your own link & also check the cache date.
  • There are so many different things that could be keeping your website from getting highly ranked. It's not all about backlinks and unique content. If your website has a bunch of ads on it, if it's getting visitors that don't stay long and click off within a few seconds, how much social traffic your site is getting (FB likes, tweets, ect). Backlinks and content are just a few items of the equation. Without seeing the site you are speaking of it's hard for us to give some pointers or suggestions on ways to improve it.
  • Hi there. Just remember when you get a certain number of BL, try not to lose by losing BL and in particular their% higher page rank very often falls down. Acquire links from reliable sources.
  • Yes, it is surely going to take time from G end. Just ping your links and rest G do it work. Dont be hyper in this situation as this might get you some problems.

Google took time to process backlinks. But if you have submitted websites on high PR websites e.g PR4 above then you can get result fast.
  • Google takes around 72 hours to detect backlinks, but it also depends on the authority of the sites where your links are coming, to get your links indexed use backlink indexer tool, ping your backlink pages,
What I observed is Links created on high authority sites like warrior, namepros, squidoo get indexed with in 24 hours.
  • Always create high PR backlinks that google consider and low rank backlinks never help you. Mostly google take 72 hour to update their database about backlinks about any site.
