SEO Explained

Hey guys,

I was wondering what the best resources out there are to learn SEO.

I've picked up a few books on kindle, and I've checked out SEOBook and SEOMOZ, and I feel like most of the info is too basic - too obvious.

Yes, websites need links. Yes, you should use title tags. Yes, you need to submit your website and write articles.

I was wondering if there is a place to learn more (free or paid).

I want to learn about tier link building, about how to bookmark web 2.0 sites, and I want to learn how to use automated tools to make it all easier.

Does something like this exist?

Thanks!

    • David,

What are some of these sites?

I may be interested in learning with you, but first I want to read a good guide, build a solid foundation, and then see what questions I have.

      Thanks!

  • To learn SEO you need the following:

    1. Websites like the search engines to find answers to your questions, forums like this with search bar to find what you want.

    2. YouTube for vivid illustration and description of your topic.

    3. Hire a mentor here to walk you through the process...

  • Kg,

There is a guy active on some other forums who has some pretty good tiered link building tutorials. You may want to check those out.

  • I could recommend my services to you but that might be against WF ToS so I recommend, Matt Woodward, Becker @ Source Wave, and Devin over at Money Mindset.
