Found a useful resource to check Google's weather it is hot or not.

Whats your thoughts on it. Is it really useful or just a hype for marketers?

      My thoughts are basically that it is not very useful, but still informative. Notice January 7th and the dramatic change in the SERP count and the Daily Big 10 reports.

      It confirms trends that you would expect to see. EMD's and PMD's declining the big 10 picking up a greater market share of top 10 results, etc...

      This tool has a lot of potential and I think it will be a strong indicator of Algorithm shifts. Might make it a bit less chaotic next time a Google Zoo Animal pops it head up and makes everyone go nuts.
