Tool for Predicting Cost Per Lead in Adwords?

Hi, in selling my SEO services to small businesses, I'd like to show them what the cost per lead would be if they used adwords. I think you can bid for this (cost per lead acquisition) in adwords -- but, I'm wondering if there's a way to predict what that cost would roughly be -- without actually running an adwords campaign?

Or, if there are other useful tools that can easily and transparently show the value of leads we can generate (forms submissions, newsletter sign ups, e-mails and phone calls) from SEO??

Anyone know of such tools? Thanks.

If I'm understanding your question the answer would be no.

There are too many variables that would determine the cost of acquisition, most notably landing page performance.

Think about it for a sec, the CPA (cost per action) business model wouldn't exist if an advertiser could predict their cost per lead. Because they can't they offer a flat rate instead and let publishers/affiliates take the risk.

If you do find such software though, let me know. I'll split profits 50/50.

thanks, i think you're right. Still, it seems like it should be possible to give a decent estimate by using various sources..

I don't think ZRIM that any such tool exist. Its because the overall cost depends on multiple factors like:
        • Overall conversion rate of your website
        • Your position of Ads and total clicks
        • Landing Page
        • Your competitor's price and features, etc
Whats driving me up the wall is even if a software is able to provide rough estimation of overall clicks acc to the position, how will it evaluate the percent of people which could be converted?
