Hi All,

Just when it looked that my site was settling down with rankings - something weird happened my website title - now appears altered on google search, I checked it on my site its perfect but when i see it in google, the first three words of my site title are placed behind were as the other words have been put forward, never heard about something like this.

Most importantly it has effected my site rankings site got booted out to 5th page from 3rd for that particular keyword which formed from the three words of my site title ( which are now the last three words of my site title )

what should i do now, will this thing become normal again ??

Answers anybody ?

Thanks for all those who read and post here

What google displays as the title, snippet, etc., is
entirely up to them. If you did not know that,
    now you do.

If you actually set out to make a title for humans, and
not google, you may have better luck.

Did you go from 3rd page to 5th page?

Going from 3rd page to 5th page is normal, and would
be crazy to think of some penalty. Being on 3rd page
is actually a dead zone to begin with.

Start working on your site and making it better for humans,
    not google.

Google does not take an interest in you personally, nor
do they really care about your site and where you
    think it should be.

However, by doing good things, you can send a signal to
    them over time.

Thanks for the advice - its something that i did deliberately - a keyword stuffed website title. I will change it now.

As far as my website ranking is concerned, I'm a designer who just happened to try his hand in SEO for my own website, didn't got any major success until now and I don't have time to invest in SEO as i'm busy with design work, SEO demands greater strategies and more time then graphic designing, so apparently i don't have that much time for this stuff.

Also not sure about hiring anybody I'm afraid being ended up with spammy backlinks. I really want my site to make money, bring valuable customers seeking graphic design services, But I simply don't have a clue on how to do that ?

Thanks again for your reply Paulgl
