    Update on Friday isn't the biggest thing to worry about in that piece. Panda was relatively tame. the penguin update mentioned coming after it is more interesting and then theres this


    Cutts also confirms that they'll be taking down 1-2 very large link networks in the coming weeks. they've been tracking them and studying them over the past couple months and they are about to take action.

    Sape has got to be one. No way all these hints by Cutts is not intended.

Google bot shows that a Top 50 University has “cheap viagra pills” on their main page. All Google is doing currently is emailing them through Google Webmaster Tools about this situation."

    Yeah Google and me both been emailing them about that. I'm giddy guys. It's about damn time.

      One of my competitors has all spam links from that network. 100 of their top links are footer links with exact match anchor text on foreign websites. It's so funny to look at their link portfolio and see this and realize, oh, that's why they're #1.

      I'm curious if they will actually be able to completely take out the sape link network. there are so many sites and it's in russian. but if G is serious, they probably have russian speaking engineers inside the network, studying it and watching all the sites, ready to banish them from the search engines for eternity.

      I have a feeling this is going to be very interesting....
