A Great Example Of A Low PR Site Beating A High PR Site

I was just doing a search in Google for the terms "auto transport" and came across these two websites. The site that comes up #2 is Home Page | Auto Transport and is a PR1. The site that comes up #4 is Auto Transport & Car Shipping CALCULATOR | Vehicle Mover and is a PR5.

The reason why I think this is such a great example is because the word "auto transport" is highly competitive both through Adwords and in the organic results. That keyword alone gets about 20,000 EXACT SEARCHES every month on average. I come across low PR sites ranking ahead of high PR ones all the time for keywords that barely anybody is typing in. But this type of example is more rare.

    Proof That A Low PR Site Can Beat A High PR Site
    Who ever needed proof of this? You can see it in almost every single search you perform.

    PR is a measure of the quality of links coming into a page, but that doesn't mean the links are all targeting a specific keyword. PR is a small, small factor in the rankings.

    Otherwise every search would be nothing but PR 10's ranking.

    PR mainly determine the authority of a site and also helps a site rank faster for any keyword that is anchorized. (just my English)

      I used to, but I got over it about a year ago.

      Instead I try to calculate the competitors' authority on a given topic, and use this instead of PageRank in my calculations.
