Facebook Advertising Help

Hi guys so i started advertising with facebook the 14th and so far i have 1,028 impressions and no clicks i wanted to know, is this normal or am i doing something wrong any help will be appreciated. btw my cpc is set at $1.34 am i supposed to have it that high.

  • Are you paying based on impressions or clicks?

    How many ads are you split testing?

    Are you sending the traffic to a fan page, or somewhere else off the site?

  • MacBook Air Offer and I'm starting to do multiple ads with a diffrent offer I have 4 ads waiting for approval and with the macbook offer it's going to a tumblr page with a banner sending them to the offer

      Your CPC is really high for what you're promoting.

      I'm guessing the MacBook Air offer is an email/zip code capturing CPA offer that pays like $2-3?
    • I agree with Serpjumpep. That does seem unreasonably high.
  • Just so you're aware, FB doesn't like email submits. Sooner or later they'll ban your account. Try a different offer.

    • Your CTR is low. You may need to create a more engaging photo to get more clicks. But make sure the photo is at least relevent. Don't just show a pic of a pretty girl to get you high CTR. It will hurt you in the long run.

      Also, using Facebook Power Editor is really helpful for creating and testing ads, but you can only use it in Google Chrome.
