Are There Google Spies on WarriroForum

What could be the reason most people hide their Signature on WF when either asking a question?
1. Is it that there are google spies here
2. or they don't want other warriors for outrank them
3. or kill their site with negative seo or what??

One of my reasons for asking this question is because I see a lot of people ask question and refuse to give the website and keyword they are looking for the solution for....

Very sometimes I hide my sig when I expect that people would reply back with a comment like "huh look at you, judging me while at the same time promoting your own services in your sig".

And I love to judge people, but when I do I am always right, that's the difference that they don't see, but still to avoid such dull comment I sometimes disable the sig, most of the time I don't give a crap though.

Well you're not exactly the type who asks questions like "What are backlinks?" and then has a sig for SEO services.

Some people don't need signature to promote there business. Joining forum and having a signature is their secondary perhaps not an option in joining but helping people.

Yes there are. And they will also buy link packets via WSOs, backtrace them and then de-rank the networks.

It's a lot easier to pay an outsourcer $8 to $10 per hour to lurk on the forums and find people selling links than trying to work out if a link is paid for or not.

Lol keep on dreaming, in that case my "small" network and a tons of others would already have been deindexed, I only had a deindexrate of 0.16%/month, that's 3 domains over >8 months.

And what would they really catch, there are not that many people on the WF with their own private network where they sell links, maybe a dozen or so, while there are 10.000's of SEO companies that do not advertise at the forum, you think they are going to buy links from them as well?

        Wake up!

I am sure some Google employs are paid to keep tabs on certain IM/SEO forums. IMO, this is not one of them or if they do, it is low on the list of forums they keep an eye on.

If you mean why do people not share their URL when they have a specific question about a site, it's simple. Let's say you found a niche that has the potential to be fairly profitable. No matter how good you are at internet marketing, there are probably people far better at it than you on this forum. So why invite difficult competition into your niche?

As for Google having spies... I don't think they are really spies, but I'm sure they monitor popular IM and SEO forums to keep tabs on the latest trends. Why wouldn't they? You can pretty much guarantee that if there is a popular trend in SEO on forums, it is going to get targeted by search engines. Look at the most popular link building methods over the past 4-5 years...

Yeah, but there could be another value there that you're missing. You're saying that forum signatures have no SEO value. But if the percentage of returning visitors is a factor, then they do. Right now my percentage is above 40%. That's because I keep on posting in this forum and the same people keep on visiting my site. The same goes for bounce rate. If I'm promoting my website with "useless backlinks" but that improves my bounce rate then that could also effect my rankings in the search engines. It tells Google that I'm not spamming and focusing on a relevant audience.

I've actually spent the last couple of days going through all my backlinks and removing my money site link from threads. Eventually I will remove it from my profile too.

I don't think anyone would want to compete with me right now. Its too early. And you do need special certification to sell what I sell. But I'm still investing a lot of time and money to dominate the SERPs. So 6 months from now, I may have competitors in my industry, searching my links on here, and that would not be good at all.

I'm not actually worried about people on WF. I'm worried about people in my niche, most who don't hang out on WF, finding certain posts I've made, that outline many of my strategies.

Call it paranoia, but I've done so much spying on my competitors, that naturally you start getting paranoid yourself. =]

Yes there is... No question! WF, BHW, TRT and others are all watched for reactions of propaganda and sneaky tracking. Why try and guess what a crowd of people intend if you can just read their open discussions? True high level marketers know to keep quite about what works! And then maybe in a year when it is dying down sell the idea/technique to others..... Yes it is a dog eat.......

A real google spy would not remove his sig.

He/she would leave it in place and point it to something like a course on how to build SEO networks so no one would suspect him

He would get lots of thanks and embed himself as a long time member and earn himself the respect of many and the disdain of many more. He would curse out adsense and tell people adwords is too expensive to use to keep his identity secret.

He would then post directly in a thread about Google spies enumerating all the things that they would and wouldn't do and then give a sinister laugh to himself as they still could not figure out his identity being quite confident that he could only be joking.

Google has no idea if a website is getting returning visitors or not.

The only bounce rate they are aware of and might potentially use in rankings is when someone clicks on a listing in the SERP and immediately hits the back button and chooses another listing.

Okay, but using any or all of those methods would only allow them to track data for a small percentage of traffic on an even smaller percentage of websites.

For 80+% of the sites out there, they would have no data. Probably over 90%. That is why I highly doubt it has any impact on rankings. They don't have enough data to incorporate it on the majority of websites.

Common sense would dictate that they are actively involved in monitoring the SEO marketing community because their multi-billion dollar profits in part depend on whether or not these people are able to manipulate the search results against what is most profitable to Google, and in the interest of the customer base.

There are several private forums that share a some really elaborate techniques. Nothing you'd see here @ the WF, and, for the most part, incredibly blackhat. You don't think Google has a few low-end office drones joining and participating in these every once and awhile?

I'll say up front that I did not read this entire thread.

Forget about google spies. You should be on the look
out for people who want to attack your site, report
you to google, get you banned, etc.

One reason you should not share one single money
site here, nor should you ever buy anything from
      fiverr that involves said sites.

Case in point. Some knucklehead posts about how to rank
in youtube. Last step is to buy YT views using their site,
complete with backlink, spammed. I told the guy upfront
he's a clown, breaking YT and adsense TOS. But look at
the thread. People saying thanks and all that. Then I said
beware, you are violation TOS, and you are putting your
sites in jeopardy. Especially to people who have itchy
      fingers.

Now I want to state up front I never ever waste anytime
reporting anyone or anything to google. I let google's
bots and auto tools do the job. What comes around goes
around. Why do you think there are so many failed threads,
banned threads, all starting with, "I have been doing this
