Hi,

I hope some of you will be able to help.

One of my client's has a website that seems to have been hit by Google as it dropped down the SERPs for almost every keyword about 10 days ago.

From what I can tell it looks like there were far too many outbound links - around 20 per page, and it looks like Google may have seen the site as some form of spammy blog.

There are a number of advertisers featured on the site and there is also a guest blog. We have added no-follow tags to all of the advertisers and removed all outbound links from guest posts, but still havent seen a massive change in Google rankings.

Does anyone have an opinion on what else we could do to prove to Google that we aren't a spammy blog site?

Thanks!

    Dear jessvb,

    1. Clean up your site, notify with disavow tool

    2. Change Meta Tags & re-submit via XML sitemap

    3. Simultaneously write few outstandingly unique articles & submit it to ezine etc.

    4. Write few more nice blogs which can be kept on your site.

    5. Share them on social platforms.

    Things may improve.
