Does anyone know a way to prevent click bombing? I was wondering if anyone knew any downloads or plug ins that can protect you from click bombing?

    the only wp plugin i ever knew of was one called "who sees ads". never used it myself but when considering it a few yrs ago kept reading about people having difficulty getting it up and running. recall it could be configured to prevent regular visitors (based on their ip address and cookies) from viewing ads. the premise for it of course is based on the fact that click bombers have to refresh/reload the page numerous times to be able to click enough to cause problems

      You can check out AdSense Defender, they have WSO here but say that they are in the moving process. I guess that's why their website does not work, but you can check this video about plugin.

      There is no way, no matter what anyone says.

      But google has things in place for such things.

      They have to. Every site gets click bombed.

      Click bombing is not clickfraud.

      If you site gets click bombed all the time, then YOU
      have problems. And those problems are what will
      lead to a ban, not the click bombing.

    If your site is receiving consistent click bombing, then drop AdSense from there for a few days. It is the best practice. There are some WP Plugins available through which you can show the ads for certain geographic locations only and can ban individual IPs also, but you can't exactly know who is clicking. Use any analytic tool to find who is visiting you frequently, click bombers mostly visit your blog directly and spend more time there. After pointing out, you can take any action based on the click bomber.
