Buying guest posts on Fiverr

Hi guys

I was wondering about the SEO value of paying to submit guest posts on fiverr.

I want to clarify...I am NOT talking about buying hundreds or thousands of links for $5. I am talking about about paying $5 to submit my own, unique, high quality guest post on a PR2,3 or 4.

I am guessing that it's a good idea to see the actual blog before buying the gigg.

Any other thoughts?

    Well, it really depends on the blog... but I think there is a very blurry line between paying $5 for a guest post gig and paying for a public blog network post (think BMR).

      I agree with that. Blog posts that are worth $5 are usually not sold on Fiverr. There are some exceptions of course, but don't expect miracles with those links.

      This is such BS. Yeah, there are a lot of crappy gigs on Fiverr, but there are some good ones, too.

      I uploaded a new site -- bought some PR 5 and PR6 blogroll backlinks on Fiverr. My new site was indexed in under 24 hours, had a PR2 very quickly, and was ranking very well for some very competitive legal keywords. Like anything, you just have to know what to look for.

        That's typical on WF, there are lots of random members here who have spent little time (or none) to test certain strategies. I can say clients who buy my gigs have told me they reached top #3 using my guest post blogging. The key for sellers is to offer quality gigs and not be afraid to turn clients away if they send articles that are spammy, spun, or duplicate. I follow 3 simple steps and it works like a charm.

        I agree though, there are lots of bad sellers on there, too bad the few rotten tomatoes gives everyone a bad name. Same can be said for WSO's and $200 SEO sellers, I've tried services that were worthless, that's nature of the beast with online marketing and outsourcing.

        That said, I would say 80% of my clients are SEO gurus using my $5 gigs who are charging their clients upwards to $50+ per post. These guys are making bank off people who just don't know!

    Yes... and tons of other people are submitting their "own, unique, high quality" guest posts too.

    I'm sure the sites are full of garbage.

    I would recommend paying $50 for a high-quality guest blog post on a high ranking blog. At least you'll know it's money well spent, otherwise as the guys said above you might as well just burn your money.

      A lot of high quality guest bloggers advertised by writing articles and creating YouTube videos. The problem being, a really good guest blogger probably has enough work on his or her hands and isn't advertising.

      The first skill is writing a great article, the second is understanding which blogs to use and how to integrate your links. I would suggest paying someone to write the article for $5 and doing the rest yourself.

    This was the same conundrum I was having when debating about whether or not to buy solo ads on fiverr.

    If you look up some of those folks you'll find so many um..."questionable" and outrageous offers.

    One seller was offering to send a solo to a list of biz opp seekers numbering 100,000.

    She looked like a sweet enough lady...

    So I asked her a bit more about her list.

    The response was something along the lines of a rushed "yes, yes, I promise JUST BUY NOW, already."

    So, I copied the image url from "her" profile and put that into google.com/images -

    Low and behold... a dreamstime image.

    Anyways, fiverr is great for certain things...not for others.

    As a seller its been WONDERFUL for me because if you think about it...

    the damn thing is a half done, already setup JV affiliate platform.

    You don't have to pay for hosting.

    You don't have to pay to post your gig.

    They pay you 80% Commissions and the site also buys traffic.

    Not to mention...EVERYONE on that site is looking to buy.

    You'd be surprised who's on that damn site to buy gigs.

    I, for example, am the proud receipient of a Perry Marshall testimonial - hows that for leverage, lol?

    Anyways, the site is great - like business for kindergarteners and easy to build a paid buyers list.

    The only thing is fiverr itself, as a company, is just a bit narrow minded and I believe missing out on some smarter opportunities.

    Well, hope that gave you some hopeful insights.

    Oh yes...DON'T buy that gig you were thinking about.

    A few thoughts on determining the value...
    How long will the guest post remain on the page that has the PR before it rolls off?
    Maybe it doesn't roll off and stays on that page but if there's 50 other guest posts from Fiverr customers on the page too then there really is no value.

    Well as regular fiverr buyer there is still a few good ones. You just need to find them.

    If you not sure what the service are or description not clear - don't buy

    If you have afraid he/she might not get job done properly - ask questions

    Worried about getting harm on your site - test on your dummy site.

    Once you can satisfied with the performance you have found a gold mine.

    There are gigs that come with guarantee.( mostly top seller )

    I've actually bought a lot of paid guest posts from Fiverr.

    There are some gems on there if you dig deep enough. But you have to be VERY careful about fake PR (it's rampant).

      Perhaps but at $4 You really can't expect that the "gems" will not turn to dust. ANyone selling ANY SEO service at that price is looking to make it up in volume and on a guest blog that equals eventually crappy spammy link resource and high OBL

        When I say "gems", I mean relative to the other garbage $5 gigs on there. There's even some DMOZ listed sites with clean link profiles. You should go over there and take a look around. You might be surprised.

        Either way, they're perfect for building links to PBN sites.

        The thing is, if you're creative, you can leverage a lot of the non-SEO gigs into some killer links. To me, that's the real SEO value of Fiverr.

    Whats not to get? I don't get that you don't get it. Its not rocket science. the provider gets $4. If they did not suck at SEO they would charge more and provide more. Doesn't matter where they live. SEO is a job where you can get jobs on the other side of the earth as long as you have internet connection

    Its a real world you live in. They are either running software or they suck at SEO marketing

    Unless the Fiverr seller advises that he or she limits guests posts to no more than a few a month and only accepts high-quality guest posts, I think it would be a waste of money.
