PR5 is a great start. Of course if it's legit. If you drop a PM or leave the URL here we can discover whether it's real or not.

Check what kind of backlinks does it have. You can check the history from web.archive.org as well. I suggest you to do something similar as the previous website was.

Sorry to say that it doesn't look good. I hope you didn't pay much for this domain... I ran your domain through SEO Spyglass and I'm seeing two links with PR and they are from Chinese websites. A PR5 link from copyright365.com with 50 external links 262 total links on the page as well as a PR4 link from xawxys.com with 13 external links and 106 total links on the page. Those are the only backlinks that are still live that this software can see at least.

Now, tell me, if I should start any site with this domain or not, if you have any idea, please let me know..

I would suggest you to start a blog. Put unique content on it. Let it gain some authority. The you can use it for selling contextual links or any other service you want.

Since your site is empty as of now, I don't think you can get instant money. You will have to put in a lot of efforts. You might as well have to invest some $ in it.

Given the DA/PA of the website, you probably won't be able to rent or sell links for much.

If you want to build a blog and monetize the website, I would strongly recommend doing some good keyword research for terms with high commercial intent. Build unique, high quality content targeting these keywords and post it to the website. Focus on low competition long tail keywords. You should be able to rank for these types of terms with very little off page SEO.

I doubt the PR is genuine, DA 7 along with a weak backlink profile, sure it has some age (2008 according to way back machine) and it used to be a Chinese publishing network.

If you have a private network you can just add it to that for the PR.

Just take a look and be sure that this website won't lose his PR after the update... I have seen so many things like this... But you can always start Affiliate marketing (Amazon for example), which will be pretty easy to rank (PR5 is a good number)

You can build a site on it, if your lucky you can maintain some of the PR, what i would do is have or write self 10 articles and post them on your site, do some backlinking and wait the next PR update and see what happens... If you keep the PR you can develop your domain, if not, than you have a write off and a hard lesson learned
