  • I'll take a look at it thanks for the info
  • I can also vouch for the "Heatmap Theme" Haven't had one single problem with it.

  • I've been looking for a good Adsense theme as well.

In an old thread, I saw someone claim they got a CTR of 15% by using CTR Theme. I looked into it and you can see a working example of the theme here.

I am thinking about getting this theme but I'm also on the fence, making sure I look at all opportunities first.

    • Hi Curtis, o looked your site but there is no Adsense adds.Whats happened? Did they Bann your Adsense Account??
  • You can try magpress themes. I am using it and it's working fine.
  • For now Im taking the first suggestion which is the heatmap theme and it looks good. Just gonna make the article for it but wont be using adsense for now. Im going to add adsense in it when it reach #1 on google I think but not really sure if im going to use adsense. I was looking for some advertisers in it soon.

Take a look at my site greatvodka . us
  • Hello, what do you think about CTR Theme?
  • Havent use CTR Themes yet but Im happy with the heatmap theme right now.
  • In the current scenario, its better to use BEST THEME rather than BEST ADSENSE THEME. So called best adsense themes might boost your CTR but users won't like it and in long term google might ban you or you might see drop in SERP.
  • I really like the gazette theme for any adsense niche site. I havent tried ctr theme or heat map, but I must say I am interested in both. I agree with Baba that a high ctr theme might catch the eyes of the big G and hurt you in the long run.

    • I agree. Using the Gazette theme with some decent ad placements (within content and in sidebar) seems to be the best balance between a low bounce rate and a good ctr rate. It also helps to paginate your content and to have good quality content.

  • The best IMO is Clickbump theme, or CTR Theme!

CTRTheme and heatmap theme is the top 2 themes for adsense.
  • CTR theme is not user friendly and my visitors start to complain over e-mail to my web site cos marketing was too aggressive, but results was perfect from 1,10% to 7% CTR

  • I vote for Heatmap. Also when you buy into heatmap you can pick from several theme to use
  • I choose professional, customizable frameworks from DIYThemes (Thesis) or Headway. Then I can manipulate the layout to put AdSense where I want and have a clean, authoritative look.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • There is no matter which theme you are using for adsense as long as you put the code in the right place. Even default wordpress theme will work well, the problem is it just look plain..
  • I use plain, clean, and simple look and feel theme of default WordPress. 2012 is truly separate content from ads. If ads are closely related to the site topic, I see very high rate of ads clicks as well as more affiliate sell.

I also use Hybrid theme, with a little tweaks, it will become more authority than MFA themes.

My sites which are using MFA themes such as HeatMap and CTR seems to perform well on organic traffic. The bounce rate of the visitors is also hight. User seems to leave quickly as soon as they saw these kind my sites.

Alternatively, Themes which are very well crafted with an authority in mind are really preform very well both organic and other traffic methods. Moreover, the bounce rate is really low comparing to MFA theme sites.

But, content must be well qualified, too in order to reduce bounce rate but in increase CTR.

    • You're Right im also using MFA themes! they are really great themes and helps a lot in building Adsense site
  • You can use any type of theme, but just focus on your contents.
    But I prefer Thesis Theme
  • There is no a Good Adsense Theme, but there is a related Adsense theme, the theme sould be great looking with the same color of your adsense ads, try to get your adsense theme in the same color as your website, a good combination between website theme and related adsense color is the key.
  • How is the Nomadic theme or the 24k theme from StudioPress? They are both free themes and look good.

  • CTR theme is very good and it is recommended to have at least 100 visitors a day before using it
  • I have a question.

Suppose I have locked down on a theme, how can I find out the list of all the websites that are using it?

I want to see how web designers have used that theme and learn from it.
  • Best Adsense Theme means add size & location of add is very clear. You can see insight of google which place user mostly click. Then you can put your add....
  • Default theme of Wordpress is still the best and it is best for Adsense and SEO both... you can customize it according to your needs as well.
  • I am going to have to give the HeatMap theme a try it looks pretty good. I have always built out custom themes and have been doing pretty good with that.
  • We've built thousands of niche websites, so having a good theme was important to us. We started out with ProSense which did alright. We ended up having issues as it was no longer supported and switched to CTR Theme, but our CTR went down.

We ended up creating our own theme (IntelliTheme) that would automatically split-test different layouts to tell us which was performing best.

If you can't find what you're looking for, build it yourself! hehe
  • i use education wp theme for yrs, and pretty good ctr, around 5%. its not fashion but works. another things i learn that old fashion website have huge ctr too. you can see txt.qsic.org
  • hi guys can you please tell me based on your own experience which is the best wordpress theme for adsense and what is their CTR
    thanks

    • I have read a lot of threads about the best wordpress theme for Adsense.
It seems that the best are:
      CTR Theme and Heatmap theme
    • am using Heatmap along with another.
My experience is that you can adjust all ( at least most) theme to be good for adsense.

  • How are StudioPress (Genesis) themes for AdSense?
  • CTR theme, Thesis, and Heatmap themes may be good stock themes for adsense. But you can make basic free non-adsense themes just as good by combining it with an adsense plugin. Then just test different ad sizes and placements.
  • In my experience niche matters more than theme. Some niches have crazy CTR rates, others have pretty poor ones.

If you want to increase CTR it helps to put the side navigation bar on the left side of the page (assuming you have ad blocks there).
  • After trying several themes including heatmap, CTR, I have decided to build Simple Sense : http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...just-22-a.html , what do you think about it ?
