Yahoo/Bing SERP question

I have a few websites I created about a month or so ago, doing some experimenting. I submitted them to google and bing at the same time. They are both indexed in google on the second page or so which I expect. They ranked on the first pages of yahoo and 2nd page of bing for a week or so and now they are no where to be found on yahoo or bing, however my ranking is moving up slowly in google. Anyone have any experience or advice for this situation? I am kinda stumped.

yahoo/bing is slow. If you want your sites to be indexed by bing, build a few links.

About building links.... I go to a few different forums a day and post a link to my site, is that a good form of link building, or do I need to be doing something else?

That's the question for which I too looking for answer. My lot of keywords are ranking on Google first page specially top 3 positions but same keywords are hardly seen on top 5 pages on bing/yahoo. I don't know what else bing/yahoo looking to rank any website on first page. It's really frustrated

Just give it time. They move slower than molasses, which is great once you are on the first page.

It just confuses me because they showed up on bing/yahoo really fast, but were gone all the sudden. If I submit a sitemap to bing it goes from pending status to success pretty quickly making me think that my sites been crawled, BUT if I go to index explorer in bing webmaster tools it says that it hasn't been crawled since 1/15/13, and I didn't start the site until 3/1/13, it's weird.
