What are some good alternatives to adsense. I have made very little so far

Jan - $2
Feb $7
Mar $2

Is there a better way to motenize your blog if traffic remains constant?

I also have the same earning around $10 per month. But I am not worried about my earning as i am using adsense from two months. I am looking for a way to get genuine traffic so that i can increase my earning. Regarding alternatives, Chitika can be good alternative to adsense.

Seems that your not getting much traffic, depending on your niche you should try promoting Clickbank products or amazon products.

Build a small list because you can make 1 sales from a Clickbank or amazon product and make 2 months worth of AdSense earnings.

How much traffic do you have to make sales from amazon and clickbank. I have amazon carousal widget installed on my posts. But no luck there. Again cause could be low traffic

I was making $400 per day a year ago, but they locked my account after a year because someone clickbombed my ads... But now I focus on other things, my ad revenue is $20-30 per day from my old websites doing nothing at all... I use media.net now which is better than AdSense for some niches!

I second that. Although I still use AdSense, I use Media.net too. Their ad style is much more attractive and attention grabbing. So, even though I have AdSense in the most prominent section of the site and Media.net on the sidebar, Media.net makes me more money than AdSense, most days.

By the way, I am not sure if you know this or not, but it is actually against AdSense policy to disclose your earnings from AdSense.

I think policy has been changed, now monthly earning can be displayed.

As I said, they suspended my account more than a year ago and took a few thousand dollars from me so I don't care if its against their policy LOL, by the way its not!

Media.net is awesome, I recommend it to everyone who is looking for an AdSense alternative. There are a lot of people who says Media.net brings in more revenue than AdSense, and yea, same happened here after AdSense suspended my account, I made twice as much with Media.net in a month LOL.

Edit: Oh, and they pay me for over a year now! I'm sure you miss support with AdSense, well, Media.net support team is very friendly, sometimes they even create unique ad formats for me just to increase CTR while AdSense support team don't even reply e-mails...

I used to make in the 50-75$ a day mark last year. But EMD disaster struck, and I have rebuilt/reshaped/built back up my sites and I'm slowly crawly back!

They are (mostly) niche sites that are being turned authority, with more optimized backlinking. More work yes, but working strategy non-the less.

thanks for your response. My low adsense revenue maybe because of low traffic. I have ~50 visitors per day. If I can increase that, I should see some increase...
How much traffic do you need to make like $10 per day.? I guess it depends on the niche too. I was hoping to see my first cheque from google, but with this rate, it may take months

The maximum I get per day so far was $2. Haven't been doing it for quite a while but would love to get it going again. Since EMD are not advisable, trying to monetize my future site and making it as an authority, good site architecture and content marketing. I think that should do it...

        Exact Match Domain.

So pretty much the keywords I was ranking was my also my domain name.

Still have a bunch of EMD's making a comeback, but they are being rebuilt/lots of new content/different back linking.

More work, but traffic and adsense bucks are slowly coming back.

You can try and optimize your placements. I like to include one 120X600 ad in my sidebar, a 335 X 280 block in the upper left hand corner of the content, and a second 335 X 280 block below the fold or a banner ad.

Also, change your Adsense color scheme to blend with your website. For example, make the links look like your links in the website, i.e., same color and font.

You can also test between text only and image + text ads to see what delivers the best return. And lastly, remove irrelevant ads in the Ads Review Center.

Not all niches are big money makers for Adsense. As an example, the entertainment niche makes very due to low EPCs and CTRs, which reflects the visitor's intent: they are looking for entertainment (funny picture website) and not looking for/to buy a solution.

Going to make around $250.00 this month from my websites and another $100.00 or so from some old Youtube content.

And honestly, I am not sure how I made that much with two websites. The niche isn't the highest paying at all. It's making me wonder what I could actually do with a niche that has higher paying keywords, which I will be testing soon.

Here's my view on making money with Adsense. Build authority sites, Google loves them. Upload content on a daily basis for the first three months. All content should be high quality. Aim for long tail keywords. After three months, make a schedule and post a few times a week.

With that, you can keep the backlinking minimal. Content is king.

I always found it quite tough to make decent coin from Adsense. Not too mention the hassle of testing limitless possibilities with placement, colours, fonts, sizes, as well as the threat of Google closing down the account at any time.

If you're displeased with the payouts, OP, try alternatives. There are many ways to work Amazon products into your posts (or after your posts as 'recommended resources'), leading them to CPA offers, Clickbank products, or whatever else.

I was earning some money, around $10 daily from an auto approved article directory, but my article directory is penalized and it is not indexed in Google now, my Adsense account is also banned.

What I learned that quality is very important if you are using Adsense, otherwise, you won't make much money.

Despite of searching for any AdSense alternative, build up your traffic quantity and quality.. AdSense pays the highest.... Although there are a few high paying alternatives, but all these accept sites with decent traffic. Your traffic is your currency, if you have it,, you can make good money through any source..

Hey I have tested many alternatives to google adsense but trust me they all sucks, so my advise will be stick to adsense and try to get more traffic like 4k -5k and you will make good money.

Getting traffic is of course not easy but also not difficult. Try to build backlinks to your site and you will see inrease in traffic ( everyone does that).

I'm just guessing here, but I kinda doubt most of you guys really tried to earn any money with Adsense. It's just like anything you could sell online/offline, match the buyer (traffic) to a relevant Ad. Random traffic isn't going to convert very well on anything. Adsense is about as basic as IM gets.
