My question is if I redirect Domain A to Domain B then will backlink checker tools show backlinks for Domain B which actually pointed to Domain A?

Can anyone let me know the true answer? I just dont want to show backlinks within the SERPs to prevent my competitors from reporting about my sites backlinks!

I really look expert opinions from expert warriors.

    No.
If you permanently redirect your website to another, link checker tool will not show the backlinks which was built to your site previously. But at the same time you will also loose the link juice, which you were getting from those backlinks. And it may result in temporary ranking lost for your website/keywords.

If you own the sites where you are building these links, you can prevent the spiders from backlink checkers accessing the sites.

Other than that, they are going to probably show up eventually.

Thanks guys. Here is another question to both Mike and SEObuz

As there is no way to hide spammy backlinks then if I build a buffer site and link build to it and then redirect the buffer site to my main domain do you think it would help me to hide low quality backlinks?

Well please dont blame me as a link spammer (I acknowledge I am so) as I am just learning SEO and you know it would take time to learn complete white hat SEO. Meanwhile I will depend on low quality backlinks even though I dont like these.

If you are going to go that route, I wouldn't bother with the redirects. I would just build links off of the buffers. Most people investigating the competition are not going to take the time to pull the backlinks of the backlinks.
