I'm not sure if it's possible to report them to major search engines.

If the scrapers are constantly hitting your pages/content, doubtful you'll ever get them to stop.

Another reason I'm glad I don't write articles, makes it too easy to be scraped by anyone else. At least images can be watermarked & zip files loaded with an internet shortcut + read me file that shows I'm the owner of the content.

One thing I've learned about scrapers, they're lazy SOBs, anything easy to automatically scrape & doesn't show the owner (watermark, etc..) is an easy target.

Stick links to your sites in all your articles/blog posts. Lots of times they will just leave them in there. hehehe As long as my original work gets indexed to my site first I don't stress about the scrapers. You should be flattered Me? I'm famous in the Philipines don't cha know

Check out AtContent.com which I think has a solution to your problem... At least if you are running a Wordpress website.

Just a heads up about the in content links.

The in content links are a good idea, especially a link in the first sentence where the first sentence might be the only text that shows on a scrapers blog Index page.

I also think there's plugins that remove hyperlinks from scraped content, so really it all depends on how smart the scraper is, If they know what they're doing they'll remove your links from the scraped content. Just saying...

You can sue anyone, doesn't mean you'll win in court.

If they are publishing them on Ezine/GoArticles or any other similar site you can get them removed. I get my stuff off GoArticles all the time by sending a 60 second message to the admins. I only bother doing that if they stripped my links though

Or report the scraped EZA page/URL to Adsense (most EZA pages include Adsense).

Another thing that helps and will become more important with more Google updates is authorship. Having a profile linked to your content will help google realize your content is original and not copied. This might not even be one of your concerns, but I thought some might find it useful.

    Stop writing, simple. Joke
And, as 2pac would say, if he's alive, "Don't believe everything you read".

If you write for your own blog, there is big G authorship tool. Otherwise, rough seas.
