Anyone Ever Had Issues With Bing Ads?

My Bing Ads account was canceled and I get an email stating that with no explanation. I called and they told me the same thing as the email.

I only ran one campaign that went to an opt-in page. It was related to IM but I tried to avoid using kw's such as MLM, get rich quick etc.

Do they manually check every new account that opens (checking keywords, links etc) to see if it falls within their guidelines?

I've seen bing ads related to IM before so I don't know what I did wrong.

All the major search engines hate IM/Make Money pages, so you have to be super careful about being 100% compliant with their policies. Much more diligent than you'd have to be in any other industry.

Pattern your landers after the best ones from offline industries (include Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions links, contact information) and you should have more luck.

At the end of the day, the search engines WANT your money so they should be helpful about pointing you in the right direction as far as fixing policy issues...they didn't give you ANY indication on the phone of why they cancelled your account?

Good luck with having them give you any form of explanation.

You're lucky you even got an email.

I've come across many cases of people getting banned from Bing and get absolutely no notification even when they try to log in.

This. I love Bing for the cheap traffic. But their support system is TERRIBLE.

I think they came to a conclusion that your site is not in compliance with their TOS. In such case, they always give generic responses.

  • Don't be afraid to call back and give whomever you're speaking with some flak about why it was taken down. If they are not helpful, immediately demand to speak with a higher up to get 'the guy' you need to communicate with to do business.

In the end, yes they want to take your money and have a partnership however they are going to be so backed up by people who are non compliant that their immediate agents are specifically trained to not care. If you truly want your campaign back, do not be afraid to have the mindset of a nasty business owner and give some push back. The worst they'll do is hangup on you.

^^^ Yea, Excellent advice. To be straight up here, you should have done that first before posting in a forum but it's cool. Simply contact them and get answers directly from Bing ads before relying on speculative forum posts

Does Bing Ads allows traffic to a normal squeeze page or a sales letter in any niche?

Make sure your landing page was compliant with their terms and also you used realistic ad copies.
