I am currently using 4/5 web 2.0 sites

Wordpress.com
weebly.com
hubpages.com
tumblr.com
blog.com

where i post my articles, all relevant to my niche, they link back to my site, and the articles that are on my site are the same topic, but i write two versions, one for my money site and the other for my web2.0's
The article that i use for the web2.0's is the same on all of them for article syndication, then i link back to my money site, and i use blog commenting to backlink to my web2.0's to give them a boost (from same niche topics).

Is this good practice?
Am i using enough web2.0's?

i have heard i will need more web.2.0's if im going for high competition keywords, is there any truth in that?

Your in the right track, but have diversity to your money site. And link more than just blog comments to your Web 2.0, have diversity with that as well.

If you are targetting local keywords 20-30 web 2.0's should be enough with a proper tier 2 backlinking. You don't have to add too much content on each blog, one post with a link to your site is enough. You can post youtube videos with some random comment just to make the look more legit.

when you say 20-30 web 2.0's does that mean acutal different sites, or 20-30 articles through the 4 that i am using?

I guess 20-30 web 2.0 sites......There are a lot of web 2.0 sites which can help you get backlinks for your sites.

You can manage hundreds and thousands web2 blogs with rankwyz.com.

    You can post own articles, use spinner, syndicated articles, extract full text from rss;
merge in your links from list, rss, sitemap; build multi-tier networs, and many more.

It's really hard to compete by creating web2 blogs manually with those who manage networks as big as many thousands, all on high authority blogging sites.

here are our system stats as of right now - you can see number of supported sites, number of successful and failed posts in the last 24 hours.

we don't make up numbers by adding crappy no pr "platform" sites - mu, wiki, elgg, etc. only custom coded, high authority & pr blogging sites.
