  • I guess you could follow the advice and contact them. Maybe your IP address, or IP address range has been flagged by Project Honeypot as a source of spam?

    You could stop spamming forums. Just a thought. Or you could get some cheap semi dedicated proxies and spam the planet.

    • There are militant forum owners who ban
      IP's from a reported list. There are probably more than a handful
      of such websites. They post IP, username, and emails to ban.
      Many forums have an autoplugin of some kind that gleans this
      info. It's tough, but needed. To other forum owners, if you
      really want to combat spam, auto-reject any user from using
      a gmail or hotmail address. Sure, it bans virtually 99.99% of
      everybody, but this 99.99% are spammers. Real people
      who really want to join, will be ready to use a non-gmail
      address. In fact, just banning gmail can crack down on
      the majority of spam.

      The more idiots talk about spamming forum profiles, the
      more forum owners should make it harder to join.

      Getting back to gmail. Most auto-profile crap which beats
      almost any anti-spam measure, is beaten with a ban
      on gmail.

  • Spend your time working on a proper link building strategy rather than building second-rate, junk links?

    Not meaning to have a go, but this is pointless - it will get you nowhere. Even if it gets you some visibility, it won't last. Read the posts on this board, build your knowledge up. Trust me, you can do better than this - there are loads of better mechanisms.
  • In order to stop sapmmers, most of the forum admins send the iP of a particular spammer to that stop spamming forum board.
  • Most likely your ip is in StopForumSpam database. Check with that site.

    • Forum is a discussion board. Only link building should not be your primary propose for joining forum. You should post relevant and informative replies and topics. When joining forum you should first read the guidelines of that forum and follow them. Forum links are very effective if done in proper way.
