?'s about Building Backlinks at niche related blogs

Hey

I had a few basic questions I wanted to ask.

If you are building backlinks by commenting on niche related blogs can you build links multiple times on the same blog? If the blog has dozens of post and you honestly read and comment on several post does each comment build a backlink?

I have come to understand that blog pages and not necessarily your sites URL are indexed in Google. If this is true when commenting should you post not just your URL but also your page extension that you are trying to help rank on the blog your commenting on?

Thanks
Scott

You can do it as many times as you like, but after the first the value of them would be reduced.

You also need to be aware that these are junk links so are unlikely to get you any sort of rankings against anything even mildly competitive...

If you're legitimately reading and leaving thoughtful comments then yes. Do it. I have a main website I use in all my comments online. Even on blogs I read consistently.

Yes you should use the exact URL to the page you are trying to rank.

Those are both my opinion on it.

Yes you can do that. It will help your website to get some direct traffic.

Anyway the backlink count will not improve in the eye of Google as it will still be seen as 1 unique backlink.

Blog comments can help to get your pages crawled and indexed, but actually do a little in SERPs ranking, especially when you do it over and over again.

It's better to have one link from only one domain name, and also perfectly will be with one ip domain.

If you're using the same url in your multiple comments, then it's useless.

OK, but what about different post from the same Wordpress blog?

      Thanks everyone for helping out

Multiple links from the same website still count, however the more links you receive from a particular website the value of each link seems to depreciate slightly after couple of links. Also, most blog commenting sites are moderated and some comments are being deleted. Deleted comments would cause negative link velocity and could decrease your rankings.

As IE says, you're not going to get much of an additional value posting multiple comments on the same blog. However, that shouldn't stop you from doing it if it's a niche-related blog - which tend to be a pretty good source for traffic back to your site. (Especially if you're commenting on newer posts that are getting the bulk of the traffic.)
