Is Warrior Forum Being Taken Over?

I love talking backlinks as much as the next guy...

But this is ridiculous:

There's no magic bullet on this or any forum.

If you know about guest posting, broken link building etc. then you probably already know enough to rank.

It's just a matter of grinding and earning those links.

You are right that there is not a magic bullet and it takes work.

Part of the problem is that some warriors are lazy and don't want to take the time and effort to learn themselves. Some new warriors really do not know where or how to start the learning process.

But part of the problem is that few warriors actually answer the questions. When someone ask "how to get quality links", most of the answers are simply "you need quality links, not quantity of links" or "you need quality content". The poster already knows that and that is the reason for the question.

When someone does try to answer the question by saying something like "guest posting on blogs", they do not really explain how to find relevant blogs, what to look for in a blog, how to contact the blog owner, etc. In other words, the actual "how to" details are not given - and I don't blame any warrior for not giving details, I understand, and it is ok not to give the "how to" details. The point is that questions are not really answered, so someone else asks the same question again and again.

BTW, what is "broken link building".

      Good points.

I think you're right: it's mostly that people don't get their questions answered.

But to be fair to the contributors of this forum, why would they spell out all those steps when there's already out there?

For example, if someone's new to guest posting there are already dozens of phenomenal resources out there. IMHO, a forum exists mainly to answer a specific question: not to give someone a step-by-step solution to a problem.

      That's what WSOs are for...

      J/K

It's the whole "we need quick results, now" side of human nature coming out, fuelled by never-relenting BS about the possibilities of t'internet.

Agreed though - it amazes me people need to ask some of the questions they ask, especially when there's far more authoritative information to be gathered just by doing a basic backlinks analysis, or trying a few a things and seeing how they react.

Don't forget the blatant attempts at increasing post counts and signature spam.

Whether that occurs in the OP or in the multitude of replies lacking substance.

It's a pattern you see in most of the sub-forums, but for some these posts represent their link building activities.

If that's the case then it's so much a time-wasting activity that it actually makes me want to cry.

Understand the power of the dark sig you do not. The true sig master does not do sigs for SEO but for direct business. There is one here - a Sith - Mastered the power of the dark sig he has.

He is called by the name Nik with his numeric being zero (rather than 666 which would be too obvious). He will be here shortly. He levitates to any sig opportunity. He has angered many and they are pumping their fists in his sig but he cares not. The power of the dark sig is strong with that one.

Absolutely, a valid reason for a sig For SEO, other than rapid indexation, worthless.

Pure nonsense. I can rank "Red penguins that can square dance" (competition of 2 million  - when will that ever die?) with just sig links. Goes to show what you know.

              • For those people that want to use automation methods to post spam then I agree, those kinds of methods wont work BUT:

Automation tools can be used to automate ANYTHING that you would normally do online regarding link building.

Just like manual link building there is a RIGHT way and a WRONG way.

Lets say for example I was in the real estate niche.

I can ask Magic Submitter to go out and create blogs on sites like:

                tumblr
                wordpress
                livejournal
                etc

I can fully customize these blogs to optimize them according to my niche:

                title
                descriptions
                h1 tags
                subdomain
                post titles
                etc

I can create these web 2.0 profiles on autopilot, I just need to give magic submitter the information it needs to create these blogs.

I can also choose to only post to sites that have a high pr and if I wanted to I could also choose to harvest niche specific sites to submit niche specific guest posts to.

All of the above is pretty similar to what is working manually but I am just doing it on auto pilot.

      Beat me to it.

Also, how do we know he didn't just search for "backlinks" on here?

Obviously, that would return the same results his screen shot is showing (one thread after another)

I'm 99% sure that's what he did, just so Backlinko could make this thread.

        I definitely didn't do that.

You can see that there's a magic submitter thread in the middle of the pack.

I actually saw the forum when he did that screen shot. It's legit.

If you go through the threads (unless the posts were deleted) you will probably see a group of posts right around the same time as eachother.

Not complaining, really. I just saw a bunch of backlink posts in a row and was a bit...well...confused.

And it's not the back-talkers (I like that there's disagreement here). It's that the same threads on link building tend to be posted over and over (and over) again.

It's because 90% of people on these forums think internet marketing is a way to get rich quick. They want to click a button and poof, party straight to the bank.

Just because the title doesn't say backlink, doesn't mean there isn't a post or something in that thread that does.

    Carry on.

In fact, I'm going to check that thread right now.

If it says the word backlink in there, you're busted.. lol

edit: indeed, the word backlink DOES show up in that magic submitter thread.

    lollllllllllllllllll busted!!!!

Forums are like a merry go round where the same old topics keep coming back up.

Considering that nobody ever beats Google in popularity and they never change off 'links' nothing has changed regarding SEO in 10 years

Nothing at all. I was just amazed at all the same/rehashed threads. There's a lot of great information already posted here at WF (and elsewhere).

Wasn't making fun. Just pointing out the backlink information merry-go-round.

Either way, I put "etc." after "guest posting, broken link building" for a reason...

Actually, if you were to scale those two strategies with a team of people that knew what they're doing, you could rank for some tough keywords with those two strategies alone.
