Is this is a dumb question or did I stumble upon something....

SO i'm not totally up-to-date with the google adwords posting rules, but i'm pretty sure for direct linking the new rule that came in is that they will only show 1 add per search for a certain display url? (i think its display, it might be destination though)

If its destination url then scrap this post....but if it is the display url, could you simple just add a '/' at the end of the site that your direct linking to?

For example,

An advertiser is direct linking to the site www.directlink.com and has that as his display url with his clickbank aff link in the destination url,
Another advertiser comes along and direct links to the same same but puts
www.directlink.com/ in the display url.....and has his own affiliate link in the destination url...

I ask for the simple reasoning that you would both be able to get onto the paid search results for the same keyword if that was possible...

Just thought I'd ask...

Thanks.

With over 200 PHDs working for Google, I am sure they have thought of that one. LOL

There are so many better ways to win at AdWords, why risk getting all sneaky?

It is a nice idea but I have heard about it before and I am sure the staff at Google have as well so unfortunately I do not think you have stumbled upon much.
