When I install SEO Plugin into WP, do I or should I still use the WP built in SEO.
This next question is related to the last. If I am installing SEO Plugin into WP should I be concerned about the strength of the built in SEO.
Thanks for your replies.

  • The plugin should 'overload' the standard WP SEO.

You would fill in the fields for the plugin.

Don't over optimize SEO, but the plugin should allow you to get onsite SEO like it needs to be so long as you don't keyword stuff or anything like that...

  • Martin,
    Thanks for the reply.
By 'overload', do you mean it will take the place of the WP SEO?
And thanks for the advice on not stuffing keywords.

    • Use whatever SEO plugin you're using optimize your posts.

That will over-ride the built-in form. From memory, All in One SEO has an option to ensure that that happens, but it happens anyway.

      As a poster said, don't over-optimize.

Are you aware that you can use a post title which appeals to readers and a different page title?

Title your post to get attention. Then use your plugin to create a different, optimized page title. (Add your primary keyword to the page title.)

      Cheers

      Angela
