How To Stop Scrapebox From Signing Me Out Of Online Accounts?

This is fairly annoying.

Everytime I use scrapebox, I have various windows open where I'm logged in, like my email, or WF, WMT, or my WP ... Youtube etc etc.

But when scrapebox is running, I automatically become signed out of all these accounts.

That may not sound like a big deal. The problem is, when I sign back in, I'm signed back out within a a few seconds.

This has always happened when running scrapebox, and it forces me to take out my laptop, so I have to use 2 computers. But my laptop is not for work, all my tools are on my desktop, + my desktop is about 10 times faster. I just prefer working on my desktop.

Is this common with scrapebox? And if so, is there a way to stop it?

I'm essentially forced to stop working anytime scrapebox is on, which is a major PITA.

thanks,

Red

    Two possible solutions...

Put Scrapebox on the laptop and run it from there.

Move Scrapebox to a VPS and run it on there.

I haven't used Scrapebox on anything other than a VPS for a few years now, so I never really encountered the signing out issue you are having.

    Thanks Mike,

I have thought about moving scrapebox to my laptop, problem is 2 things -

    1) I'm afraid it will work a lot slower since my laptop has less cpu/ram
    2) I think when I got my license, they said you can only use it on 1 computer. So it seems like I may need to message the owner, get scrapebox moved/approved on my laptop... just to find out it works too slow and I have to move it back to the desktop.

Although I do like the idea of using a VPS. That definitely sounds like the best option right now.

    Thank you!

No it's done automatically but does require you to wait an hour or two. I see Mike already hit the VB solution so there ya go.

A possible third solution is to install virtualbox on your desktop. Scrapebox running inside the Virtualbox is locked off from affecting the rest of your system. Never tried it with scrapebox but it may even work without a change of license if its configured like your real machine.

I use Vbox to test software, for many apps to have two instances running at the same time and to use automation that requires mouse movement. You do have to have a pretty good system because you are running another virtual computer within a computer.

VB is a pretty decent alternative to a VPS.

I used to run it from within VirtualBox on my desktop. And, if needed, I could simply copy the VB over to my laptop. Or, if I was too lazy to do that, remote in with something like Teamviewer.

A VPS is a much better solution in most cases. But I can understand some not wanting to spend the extra $$$ if they're not a heavy Scrapebox user.

I dunno about that. In fact I'd say for people not into multiple sites its the inferior solution. I have two VPS and still use virtualbox too. You have an I7 desktop with 16 gig of ram its going to smoke just about every VPS out there. Plus for automation that requires mouse movement VPS Suck as the moment you close the RDP connection the mouse stops working. For a few hundred I can upgrade my CPU and max out on memory, drop some programs in VB and not even notice its running (since its isolated from the rest of the resources) while I do other things

MInd you I am not a link blaster but sheesh when I see people spending like $150 a month with Power up hosting to run GSA and a few blasting tools on a VPS. its just a waste.

I've been with Host-Stage for a few months and it's pretty much a steal at $12 a month. The biggest advantage is the fact that you aren't using any of your own resources. (Bandwidth or your machine.) There is a SLIGHT delay in responsiveness as opposed to running it on my own computer. But it's so minimal that I barely even notice it.

I just like being able to connect to the VPS, set up a large task, and disconnect / minimize while it's running. And not have to hog my own computer resources and bandwidth.

You can use Scrapebox on 1 computer
The registration code is attached to the pc
you can change it once per month for free otherwise its abut 5$ something like that
I think it was per month so you can move it at the end of the month to your laptop let it register (this will take less then 24hour) test it and if it doesnt work out move it at the beginning of the month to your pc
you dont have to msg the owner its all in scapebox

Run it in a VM machine. This will save you having to rent a VPS and should solve the logging out problem. I use VMWare and you can get it at the right places.
