Pay Per Clicks for Newbies

Is there any FREE course, training, or websites that talk about the basics of pay per click? I'm talking about the jargon in it, like the words "ad groups," "CPC," etc, what certain functions are and the basics of starting ad campaigns? I've searched on Google for the very basics but the results were just tips and tricks. And the blogs that did talk about the "basics" for newbies were using PPC terms and never defined what they meant.

I will be doing PPC very soon, but I've never done it and I want to at least know all the basics of it, including terms and lingos, keyword research, and how to set up campaigns before I get started. I'm not looking for anything advanced (yet). I'm just looking for the fundamentals so that I can learn and build from there.

Thank you.

  • PPC will cost you much money if you don't have a proper knowledge about PPC.
Learn as much as you can, do split testing and learn from you test.

    • true! every time your keyword is being served, you get to pay with or without getting clicks.

Keyword research is vital. Ensure that you get the proper keys that really relates to what you market. Keywords should match the ads as well. This is important to get high CTRs.
  • Thank you, but in order for me to learn I have to start with the basics. No one knows anything or can recommend anything?
  • I think "ppc classroom" has good and decent training about ppc. I think good PPC players are only advertise when they have a budget like at least $500 per day to spend in advertising. No less than that or we won't get a decent result
