Odd Thing I noticed with My Site

This morning I had a bunch of payday loans links all over my site. My friends noticed it too on their computers.

But now it went back to normal. Any idea(s)? I didn't even touch it cause I was at work.

    You may be seeing a different page to Google due to user agent or IP address redirection.

    If I were you I'd log into your hosting and check to see if the .htaccess file has changed (check right down the bottom even if it seems blank), or if there are any new pages on the server.

    You could also run a cron job on the entire server looking for the string "pay day loan".

    I see it now, all over the entire site, lol. It's not on the Google Cache yet.

    Turn all your plugins On/Off one at a time & check the page on something like Chrome Incognito so your not looking at the WP cache (that will mess with your head). Or, search all the files in each WP plugin for base64, that's the easiest way to drop links.

    Looks like a payed theme, I doubt a payed theme developer would sabotage their own clients.

      Seriously. This site isn't getting any traffic anymore though. Mike Anthony might be on point with the SAPE network.

        Since your not getting any traffic, turn Off every single plugin & switch the theme back to the default WP theme.

        If the links still exist while looking at Chrome Incognito (or similar browser) then you've most likely been hacked. Don't look at the live webpage with a regular browser because the WP cache will sometimes mess with you.

        Check the easy stuff first (WP theme/plugin).
