Using PPC as a CLICKBANK AFFILIATE

by dvir0776 16 replies
Hi all!

I'm a 19 year old newbie, and I was thinking about using adwords and adcenter to drive traffic to a landing page I will make about clickbank products I'm promoting (one page for each product).

Before I start, I just want to know what is YOUR opinion on this? Do you think it's possible to make money by using PPC as a clickbank affiliate?

Can you share from your own experience?

I'm new to this field and if I could make 10$ a day with this method it would be really GREAT for me, so my expectations aren't that high.

So, what do you think, I WANT TO KNOW!

It is possible but relies on your ad creation skills, also adwords doesnt like landing pages, its better to buy a domain and 301 forward it straight to the affilink then use the domain url in your adwords campaign.

Thanks for the answer! Though I'm not sure I understand...

you say that I should buy a domain for a health product, say healthproduct.com, display it on the google ad, and then have the domain transfer to product-owner-site.com? And from there the owner sells the product? So basically there's no need for a landing page?

Thanks for the help, please clarify

      NOOOOOO! DON'T DO THIS!

This is one of the fastest ways to get your account banned.

Agreed. Seems like a pretty terrible idea.

Better to use Facebook PPC for Clickbank Products in my experience. Adwords is pretty strict on most Clickbank Landing Pages and will be more expensive.

I'd look into this WSO as well: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-now-live.html

NOT MY WSO, but I bought it and I use it all the time and works great.

ClickBank pays good commission but you have to test products which product gives you money and then stick with that.

I'm using only Microsoft adcenter with clickbank. Right now I have 25 campaigns. I'm pushing for 80 by the end of the month. so far I'm a little above from breaking even.

    So far I spent $101. I've invested bout $400-$500. And it's been a week.

Please note that Adwords requires a specific landing page on your own domain which you show in the display URL. The key is that the destination URL should be the same as the display URL.

As suggested by a poster in this thread, if you redirect the destination URL directly to the merchant page, you will be banned straightaway and your Adwords account will be banned.

Are you direct linking? If so, be careful. It's only a matter of time before they shut down your account.

Just set up simple blogs with a bit of content and build landers on them for the products you're promoting. It takes a bit of extra time, but your conversions will be a LOT better and your account (should) remain pretty safe.

    Thanks for the replies!

My main problem right now is with the pre-sales page, I don't know how to write it.

Can anyone please write her or PM me with examples of pre-sales pages, I'm feeling pretty lost about how to start one...

    Thanks for the help!

For the best examples of landing pages you should search your keywords on Google and Bing and see what your competitors are doing. You don't want to copy them but use them as a bench mark for your own landers.

Building effective landers is half the battle of any paid ads online, learn everything you can about it. html/css/php are your friends.

Don't think that you should only build one lander either. For every campaign you need to build multiple landers and split test them, then continually tweak the ones that work to improve them. It's the difference between those that lose money, break even and those that laugh all the way to the bank.

Also, get a copy of the book Cashvertising and make it your bible.

It's possible to make money from clickbank, but from my experience most PPC platforms don't allow you to use affiliate links, like Google and Facebook

Gravity just means a lot of people are promoting a product. Which doesn't necessarily mean it will convert well. If anything, you want to stay away from products with a really high gravity.

I've got plenty of campaigns bringing in REALLY targeted traffic at 5-10 cents a click. But I'm staying out of niche's with a ton of competition.

What's more important is going through the sales page, putting yourself in the visitors point of view, and seeing if it would convert you into a buyer. Also, if possible, getting a review copy from the vendor and ensuring that it's a decent product.
