Question about Adsense and its policies towards GPT Sites

I started out with my blog over 5 years ago. Once I had it set up I contacted Google Adsense. And it was approved within a day or so.

At that time I had Survey Sites and a couple of GPT Sites.

For instance, one is www.Cashcrate.com . It was plainly seen on my Blog when I got it approved back 5 years ago.

Are GPT Sites allowed on the same Page with Adsense according to Google's policies ?

They seem vague in their most recent updates to policy

By the way GPT stands for 'get paid to'. And they have to do with filling out free offers, daily surveys, and referral systems ! NO pay for clicks

I think I know the answer but want to confirm it with someone here !

Thanks,
Robert

      Hanson,
Was there a stated reply by Google that you had invalid clicks ? Or did they say you have a Forum that contains material that is against their Adsense Policy ?

      Thanks, Robert

All of Google's terms are vague. That way they can ban you and even if they explain it you wil never know the reason.

Keeping an Adsense account is mostly common sense stuff, keep everything family friendly (traffic sources, content, etc...). No get rich crap, no fiverr miracle gigs, just sites trying to help the Adwords folks generate legit traffic/leads.

      It's not like it's difficult.

Google clearly states they ban "pay to" sites. They just don't spell
    out every "pay to."

Sites that offer compensation programs ("pay-to" sites)

    What's the policy?

The term "pay-to" refers to sites that promise payment or incentives to users who click on ads, surf the web, read emails, or perform other similar tasks. Placing Google ads on such pages may result in invalid impressions or clicks and is therefore prohibited. Similarly, sites which primarily drive traffic to or discuss pay-to services are not permitted to show ads.
In fact, you can't even discuss it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(BTW: I don't care what anyone says. Those are scam sites. Not talking about
    legit survey sites like clearvoice.)

Google bans you for breaking some TOS. Just because one choose not to
read about them or follow them, is not google's fault.

Mr. penguin, I used to think you're a bot. Now at least we know you've
been banned from adsense. Who woulda thunk?

You're a stand up guy who contributed good stuff here, Mr. Pears, so
don't take it personal when I say that google is not vague. They make
all this stuff pretty crystal clear.

Maybe it is clear to you, but then you are brighter than most, including me. i get confused at the stuff I read from Google, and so do many of my associates. I would love to have you on my team so you could keep me advised on Google. But i doubt i could afford you.

But I think you for all your contributions here, i have learned much from reading yor posts.

Yeah I think I am going to have to side with Paul on this one.

Even though I vehemently disagree with him about all these Sites as being fraud. There are numerous Sites like these that are legitimate !

For instance Cashcrate as I mentioned above it is not a fraud. They have legitimate sponsors there. For instance my wife and I signed up for Netflix a couple of years back. I got $10.00 for the free paid 30 day trial Offer there but I also used Netflix for over 2 years.

Also they have had many other reputable clients like DirectTv , DSW ,and Dr. Seuss books I got for my kids as a paid offer.

And also Paul do you know a lot of the free offers you do at some of these sites where you get up to $2.00 to join by signing up....they are for surveys Sites like NPD Group , Global Test Market, IPSO , Pinecone Research which are very much as legitimate as Clearvoice.

In other wards, for instance Global Test is a client of CC and they pay you and CC something around $3.00 to sign up as a free offer and they get you on their Survey Panel to take legitimate surveys about the habits of consumers concerning different products of their own clients.

      So not a scam

And I have always, always gotten paid for my efforts in a very timely and reliable manner

It is true people who are members at a site like this try to game the system but not all the Sites themselves are scams !

(BTW, I do not care what you say or anyone else because I know for a fact that NOT all these Sites are scams. Period )

Anyway, that aside Paul points out that you need to just go back and read the policies closely and see that these Sites (even CC) are not allowed to be on a page with Adsense.

I had a few friends whose accounts got banned a couple of years ago "for no reason ".

However, looking back on it they did do something (even though it seemed minute) that was against Google policy and that was reason for the ban on Adsense.

So take Paul's words as very true and read every word of those Terms and Conditions and do not try to take short cuts, it is just not worth it.

Was you sending low quality get rich quick traffic from cashcrate to the Adsense pages on your blog? You said you own both sites.

How do you even know that cashcrate site has anything to do with you being banned from Adsense?
