Hey, What would you say is the best for ranking youtube videos. I always seo optimize it but sometimes I get stuck on page 2 of google for a medium competition keyword.

I know likes, views comments, bounce rates is key. What do you think is effective for link building...social bookmarks, blog comments etc.

    We recently did a nice checklist on how to take the most of YouTube promotion.

    There are four blocks of optimization tips summarized in one guide. They're mostly about promotion in YouTube, but these are definitely a great bunch for ranking videos in Google. Check it out!

    High retention views are an essential factor for ranking a video in YouTube.

    Backlink-wise you need to focus mainly on Social Signals.

    And also be sure to drop a few favorites on your video - they are often underestimated because they are not visible at the first glance!
