Is there a way to hide my backlinks ?

Guys..is there a way to hide my backlinks from other competitors ? I made so many studies to get backlinks and my competitors follow me and they gain backlinks from me(the websites) and I want to keep an end to this...how ? I read it can be done using scrapebox and is it possible ?

  • Yes...I know google will find our backlinks but there is no way to hide or at least fool our competitors? That would be very useful because I really spent more time on it and its like

    • I trying to "fool your competitors", you also risk fooling web crawlers and stopping them from accessing those backlinks.

      My advice would be to get links from sources that are unreachable to your competitors.

  • There is no way to hide your backlink. All you can do is work a bit than your competitors... All the competitors cannot gain the same backlink you have... the only thing is work hard...
  • There's no way to hide your backlinks. But, if you want to mess with their heads create a few hundred backlinks with the anchor text google-approved-id-677754

    That should help them waste a couple of hours working out what it all means and confuse the hell out of them.

    Direct those links to an internal page that isn't that important.

  • Their is a no way to hide backlinks from competitor, and why you worry for that if competitor see your backlinks, only backlinks is not helpful in ranking. Their is other factor also in ranking. You can do you work as it is.
  • You CAN hide your backlinks.

    In your robots.txt file or htaccess file you can block ahrefs, majestic, OSE etc. from indexing your site. I don't think that looks very natural to Google, but it can be done.

  • I don't think you can do this. If you do NOT want to SHOW your backlinks, just do NOT build them // You can't hide them beacuse Google indexes everything... You can only hide the backlinks if you can access the robots.txt file of the website where you have a backlink!
  • Other way is create private blog network, so that your competitors wouldn't link to your site..

  • What about pointing most BL at 1 site and redirecting it to your main website?
    Those BL wont show in BL checking tools, right?
