Hello,
My boss didnt pay his hosting bill on time and they ended up pulling his sites off.

We had a number 5 position for keyword for one site before but slid when they pulled site off. Now its about 3 days after that they put sites back up and we are not in the top 100!

Another site was ranked for 2 keywords, they lost position during the downtime but have now regained their rankings.

Anyone else have this experience

As long as the drop in rankings was purely because of the downtime, your rankings should return after a while. It should just be a case of waiting for google to crawl your site again and see that it is back up.

Stick to popular players like HostGator.

You'll regain your ranking, just get them up and live ASAP and give 'em a week or so. Meanwhile continue doing what you were...content, backlinks etc.

At times G bot takes time to re-crawl the site. You'll be fine whenever G bot hits your site and notices everything is back to normal. it may take a week or more.

  • Stay away from the likes of Hostgator and you will be fine. The same things was pulled by one of my host and the sites dipped but they were back in the ranks four weeks later.
