Google Analytics filters out a lot of bot traffic - that usually accounts for most of the difference.

some things are filtered but then i believe it is more accurate. in the end it doesn't really matter if you have 500 or 1000 visitors a day, it all depends if you convert them into your fans, subscribers or customers
maybe you also excluded yourself as an admin from that list?
