Anyone can advice me on how to get higher rankings on the Bing/yahoo network?

I am ranked on second page for my 4 main keywords but that gives little traffic (but converts well)

    I just find that well written, unique content works well. Good or average content doesn't seem to score well.

    What I've noticed is that if you get first page on Google for just content then you'll be first page on bing and Yahoo, or most of the times. I think Yahoo and bing just scrape from Google search results.

    You need to focus a lot on forum posting and in article posting. This gives you a little edge.

    Are your keywords ranking on Google?

    Google, Bing, Yahoo have different criteria for ranking the keywords. As Google is the biggest search engine I would not recommend to perspire much for the other search engines. Try to rank high on Google, once you start ranking and as your traffic grows the other minor players will start to rank you.

    I have experienced all this while that Bing favors EMD's Exact match domain. So you can do a blog post on your site with the URL having the keywords you want to rank for. It is not that difficult to rank on Bing and Yahoo so you can try with EMD's, meta tags and higher keyword density.

    You are right about good conversions from Bing and Yahoo. I still find that Bing and Yahoo tend to favour keywords in the domain name. It will only cost you a few bucks to give it a try.

    Clone your existing site to the new exact match domain site
    Set up a 301 redirect from all the old pages to the new pages
    Slowly start building decent PR links to the new exact match domain site

    If it doesn't improve your rankings after 3-4 weeks, you can always switch off the 301s and do something else with the new domain.
