How many new, unique posts or pages have you published to your site in the last 3 months?

I am pretty sure about 480+ of them are WORTHLESS! They are LOW PR and LOW AUTHORITY websites for sure... If you want to increase your PR go with guest blogging -> Find related blogs to your niche and if possible PR3+ and kindly ask them to write an article for them (with a backlink to your website) and if you have luck, they will agree (tell them that they also win -> FREE content!)

I would suggest instead of publishing hundreds of contents into your site, try using some of them for guest postings/blogging.

Also, do blog commenting and forum posting using your posts as helpful resources so that the bloggers and also search engines would find your site valuable.

It seems that Google's PR update happens every 2 months and we are expecting an update this May.

PR update happens every 3 months. Sometime this will take more. Your site structure, interlinking and quality content also will give big impact in PR

It just means that the links have issues when it comes to their value. You should build some good quality links from other sources. Better do guest posting and other content marketing campaigns.

The page rank factor mainly depends on getting quality back links for the websites and the same time the page rank gets updated on every 3 months. So, you have to wait for some more time.

Blog comments, submissions, directories. You really want to burn your site, don't you?

Don't care about PR, care about your rankings on Google. I mean that's pretty common that PR3 beats PR6 in serp.

Still amazes me how many people focus on lifting their PR, when lifting your PR doesn't make your more money, lifting your rankings does..

You need to be patient because results don’t just happen overnight. Since, pagerank is based on incoming links, you should build links from various high authority domains with good amount of PR. This will also give your site authority.

You need to get more DoFollow backlinks on high PR pages to increase PR. You can look for Drupal blogs, and leave comments on them. A lot of them are DoFollow. Try using the software Comment Hut, and you will be able to find the Drupal blogs. I used this technique a few years ago. I was able to get a lot of high PR DoFollow links from Drupal blogs, and they took my PR to 5 just from getting those links. Rankings will also improve a lot from those links.

just started working on boosting the page rank for my site using a quite different strategy,
and have documented every step in the process so far, along with the impact on PR after each step is complete.
I’m leaving several weeks between each step to give each action time to flow through Google’s head and reflect in PR.
Once I’m done, I’ll return here and list the results for everyone to have a look at.
