Hi guys. I want to get into a "get ex girlfriend back" niche and build a quality SEO optimized website.

I'm fairly new to SEO stuff and have some questions for the experts:

  • Is it ok to register domain as partial keyword match and then have blog post title as exact keyword match?

For example: ReturningExBack.com/how-to-get-ex-back/

There is a repetition of "ex back" in domain and blog title post.

And same question applies for creating a category, so it may look something like this:

ReturningExBack.com/get-ex-boyfriend/how-to-get-ex-back/

Or would Google mark it as spam?

  • What would be the best way to build a website's structure for targeting terms like:

How to get ex back

How do I get ex back

How do I go about getting my ex back

Would it be better to make separate posts for all these keywords?

I face a small challenge to built quality site. I would like to have 5 different tabs at the top (pages) but the problem is that all these keywords are getting searched with mild variations.

It is not like I am building website for Top Ten Country Artists where I can create branches to top 10 artists and out of those to their top 10 songs. Example:

domain/taylor-swift/ours/

  • And what is the best way to backlink and social bookmark? Create back links to posts or to the main page?

Thanks everyone in advance. Also, if someone knows a good course on how to make money from niches sites, please recommend. Again, thanks guys!

I don't think it would necessarily be marked as spam, other qualifiers may mark it as spam but that alone? I find it hard to believe.

Think about it like this, Big time retailers use similar kind of linking structure and are successful.

Imagine a site selling only skis, lets call it SkiHut.com

What if they have a brand of skis, so SkiHut.com/LineSkis

They don't get marked as spam, why would you? Let the content quality speak for itself.

2 repetitions are fine enough, of course making a whole site about the same damn keyword is a non-sense, google doesn't like it and users too.

Make 1 single post and put those keywords in-content. Optimize url + title for the harder one only. Making 3 posts about the same thing makes no sense.

Yes, one thing to keep in mind as our other user mentioned if you have good quality google will recognize this and placed for the right keywords. For example "how to get ex back" it does not have to be an exact match... it can be a variation of that but after time with enough work and content in the site you will probably rank for that and variations.

You will want to build different type of backlinks to the posts opposed to the homepage, you want to focus higher quality backlinks to the homepage while posts will suffice with social bookmarks and social media related type backlinks... if you have a lot of posts and in regular intervals it will be hard to keep building good links to those.

Remember to utilize your google profile and add a photo for your new posts, so your posts will show up and presented better in google search.

Yeah Google Authorship is huge. Also it draws the eye in of the searchers and WILL increase traffic accordingly.

    Thank you everyone for reply.

I definitely want to have quality content but how do some sites with 1 picture and couple of paragraphs rank so well? I'm not talking about competitive keywrords.

In fact, I want to target uncompetitive keywords of low search volume.
