Google organic traffic without any kind of seo?

Hi...

You are getting organic traffic from Google without actively trying to focus on SEO because you are ranking for a few keyword phrases (even though you are trying to do so).

Will writing high quality content on a regular basis increase the amount of organic traffic you will get? Definitely.

That being said, it does make sense to instead of blindly creating content, you find out what exactly people are looking for in your niche and write about that.

How does Google send the traffic to my blog since I don't do any seo and I am in a competitive niche like "IM"?

You have good quality contents. Google love it and they give you targetted traffic. Perhaps you rank in good position for long tail keywords.

Your content may have been ranked against some keywords (low competition keywords may be ) and it got the ranking immediately after getting indexed. It is a good sign because it indicates that your content is very good and user friendly too (bounce rate 33%).

Hi guys,

The fact that I had 6 visits from Google in 7 days indicates that I provide value to people. This is what Google wants. However why so little traffic ? :/ By the way, I have 7 posts on my blog. Need 107 to have 100 -200 hits a day ? :/ The bad news is that I cannot predict the future...

Seven posts is not very much, without off page SEO you will need more content to get visitors. I suggest you do proper onpage SEO now and if you stick with the blog do off page SEO later or outsource it.

I very rarely do any offsite seo and I am in the weight loss niche. My site consists of post from 400 words posts to 2000 word posts. Variety is the key.

I will say however I do look to see what people are searching for and base SOME of my posts around that. Other posts are just posts that help people with weight loss - some rank high in Google, some don't.

I was able to take my site from earning nothing and getting about 3 visitors a MONTH back in January 2013 to it now averaging $300/400 / month with only 60/70 visitors per day.

Not a HUGE amount of traffic but it's all about knowing what to write about and who your targeting.

Just keep writing high quality posts, that target specific keywords, and some posts that don't. Make them interesting to read, and make sure they have a clear structure. Also make your site pleasing on the eye and you'l start to see some very good results.

Google will spider your site every few weeks or so depending on how much you post. If you have 6 when Google visits it will take away a few keywords. The next time it visits in a few weeks and you still have 6 articles it will take away a few more keyword phrases.

If you add articles and it finds 10 when it spiders it will take away keywords from all 10 posts. Every time it visits it finds a little bit more.

If you have 10 articles and leave your site for a year, Google will maybe visit about 9 times. In one year you could end up with 80-100 visitors per day to those 10 articles.

With absolutely no disrespect at all to yourself or to your site, it means no such thing at all.

It means that 6 people have found a page of your site listed in the SERP's when they looked for something. The fact that they're staying a long time on your site and have a low bounce rate does mean that you're providing value to people.

Do you have some sort of analytics installed, so that you can see for what search terms those 6 visitors were looking? Well worth knowing, perhaps, because the fact that some stay a long time means that there probably wasn't a big mismatch between what they were searching for and what you provided for them.

I'm afraid it doesn't necessarily work like that at all.

The big question is, are they opting in? This is what matters, surely? Even 10,000 visitors from Google are no good if they don't opt in or buy anything? (I shouldn't be asking, though, about 6 visitors: you'll know the answer to that when there have been 600, not 6 ).

I don't think so, if you write those high quality post, is probable visitors make some SEO for you sharing or recommend those post, so I think your visits per day will be more

If your pages don't have a noindex tag then your pages will be listed in Google SERPs (eventually). If your pages are in Google SERPs then you'll at the very least pick up longtail keyword traffic (eventually).

I'm not a fortune teller so I have no idea If you'll ever get more traffic without purposely doing SEO. If you do SEO, odds are you'll see more traffic from the SERPs.

Something similar happened to me before. It turned out that my site was actually optimized for a low-competition keyword I wasn't even targeting. Maybe you should install Google Analytics to find out how your visitors arrive at your website.

If you are an expert in your field, you will use the necessary keywords in a natural way. However, it is always a good idea to look for the more demanded keywords before writing your article.

You may discover that by using one word instead of another one that has exactly the same meaning, you can get more traffic.

If you create content actively, progressively then you get some visitors from Google search engines, these visitors come from long tail keywords, blog searches etc.. so this is good as you are getting search engine visitors..

Having appropriate content for your audience can definitely bring you organic traffic. Also, having a low bounce rate means driving well targeted traffic to your site. Also, aside from the relevant and interesting content, other factors that can contribute for organic traffic are the design of the page, fast loadable site, etc.

You're not getting much traffic (6 visitors) and your blog has little to no content (7 posts) and you don't seem to know what keywords brought these guys to your site to begin with ;-) You haven't done any backlinking but what if someone else linked to you?

If this is your 1st site - that's great and congrats on having a few visitors but you've still got a long way forward. You need a lot more visitors and a strategy for monetizing them to make this worthwhile.

Oh...and if this is your 1st site and you're already blogging about internet marketing.

Mathematically speaking it will be "positive".

Emotionally speaking, it will be >> negative. Because, by the time you get any significant traffic, to actually make money from, your skin will have the same look and feel as a mummy.

Thats because you'll be dead.

If you don't want to die, or starve to death, before you make money, start learning/doing keyword research along with backlinking.
