It's very easy to get it listed in google. Changing your domain name is always an option, could you please explain a little further , telling me exactly what you're wanting to do?

Few months back, Google introduced an update called "EMD", which was mainly concerned with domains which use keywords in their name but hardly deliver any information which searchers are looking for. After this update, if you're using domain which consist your main keyword and you're serving no value to searcher then your domain won't rank higher anymore.

So in my opinion you should concentrate in offering value to your targeted audience than changing your domain.
