How much is my $400/month income Adsense autoblog worth?

I have a website that makes around $400 a month from Adsense on full autopilot.

How much would you say it is worth? I am thinking of flipping it.

Thanks for any info.

Are the articles copied exactly word for word from other sites? If so, that is against the AdSense TOS.

Or is it curated content? Although, that can even get you banned from AdSense if you get a manual review and they don't believe that it provides a good user experience.

If it was unique content the site would be worth much more.

if its making $400 per month, you can sell it $4k...10x monthly is pretty standard...

Sorry, but I disagree with you.. If the content is copied, it is worth NO more than $10.00 ... You could get your Adsense account banned just a day after you buy it...

What kind of blog? What autoblog tools did you use? and I believe autoblog will not live long as Google keep updating their algorithm to eliminate all the low quality, duplicate content. Soon autoblog will be hit and autoblog is violating Google adsense TOS, if reported by anyone for duplicate content the site will be hit-ed hard and get the Google Adsense account banned.

Although I'm impressed that you manage to make $400/month with an auto blog I would put the value at $0,-

He didn't say it was an auto blog just that it was on full autopilot. There's a difference He also gave no information about the content, so no need to tell him his content is against Adsense's TOS if you don't know what his content actually is.

I'd try 1 year's worth of income instead of 10 months. Though if I had it on autopilot I probably wouldn't let it go at all.

Lol, guess I got a reading problem

In that case the site is probably worth at least $2400,-

would not let it go??? the smart ones knows that the fine line between adsense cashflow and some google update is very fine indeed. a friend recently had a huge money site deindexed.. $14000 per month in adsense down the pipe can you imagine what a site that was generating $14000 in adsense income would have been worth on the marketplace???

      now its dead

instead of selling the bugger he thought it would last forever.. you know like you Ephrils

There's no fine line between Adsense & a Google SERP update unless the webmaster is 100% dependent on search traffic. Everyone has the option to diversify traffic sources, If someone doesn't use that option that's their own fault.

Thanks for all the good replies. It wasnt an auto-blog I just meant the money is coming in by itself without me doing anything. But its kinda become an auto-blog now because I wrote PHP to spin articles. I know have 25,000 versions of the same article lol. But at least the article is not scraped. I wrote it myself.

My obvious concern is that Google will say its too many indexed pages with similar content. And I could not blame them. The good thing is, it's still my homepage that gets 95% of the traffic so all those pages didnt really serve a purpose. I was just trying to flush it out and make it more like a search engine.

Should I 404 all the posts and just have the home page and a few others like for real content? Maybe flash games or something.

I am now about up to $500 a month . Have been for 6 months.

Don't get rid of the other content.

Why? Because having unique content pages on your site that have similar keywords to your home page are probably helping the home page rank well.

I have seen this with my own website: the home page gets like 50% of the total traffic, even though it is frankly not a very good piece of content. But the website has 100+ other pages on the similar keyword that are all pointing back to the homepage. So they give "weight" or ranking strength to the home page to help it rank higher.

At least that is my theory. I've also heard that pages on your own website give a sort of internal Pagerank to other pages on your website that they link to. So, in general, the more content you have, the higher your whole site will rank.

True but that point was that those 25k pages are no unique lol. They are all spun. The homepage is unique though. I am a little concerned that Google Will ban me based on that so I might deindex them myself from my sitemap or even delete them.

Good things is lately only 20% of my traffic has been coming from Google so not much the big G can do to mess me up like they normally do.

Those 25,000 spun pages will eventually hurt your rankings. If not now, it will come during the next Panda update, for sure. Delete them all, and outsource content to a writer. Fill the site up with unique content, targeting profitable keywords.

I think the confusion may be coming from the thread title that says "$400/month income Adsense autoblog".

    patco

you could get your adsense for just having a name like patco

point being that adsense is a very unstable model in my opinion to purchase from anyone. The best way would be to build it yourself. this way you know the true value of what you put into it

I would pay one months income for an adsense site

too unstable to trust to an outside source

    Eddie

PS this is not to say there alot of wankers that would pay lots of money.. suckers born every minute. in fact the warrior forum is prime pickins for these sharks that lurk and offer regurgitated poop.

Autopilot doesn't necessarily mean it's scraped articles, OP was kind of vague on the site description.

I have Adsense sites that are full autopilot & have been for a long time. When I say autopilot I mean evergreen niches where I put in a lot of upfront work (months/years) per domain, now I vary rarely post new content on most of the sites (autopilot/recurring income). Then again OP might have a scraper site, hard to say without a buyer actually seeing the site.

It's impossible to put a dollar amount on something you have no idea what it is, for all we know OP could have a golden niche & doesn't know how to generate traffic, or it could be a low paying niche & OP is getting millions of unique traffic.

The value of the site is whatever the buyer is willing to pay & not a penny more.

Keep it and make 40 more just like it, then sell the whole network for $1 million.

It depends on the consistency of the income and who you're marketing it to.

As it is an auto-blog most would get suspicious about it's sustainability especially with all the buzz with the importance of original content or properly curated text.

At the same time some people like the idea of a complete passive income stream (and clueless about any risk)

you can try listing it on flippa with a reserve of income*5times and see if it takes off. Although a note of caution, we've seen in our own auctions that Thursday is the Best day to list your auction (Mondays are the worst) and it generally does make a difference.

Everyone can quote you a bunch of potential value but they aren't the ones buying it.What matters is what the market is willing to buy for it and which audience you're promoting the site to

If it's the TV website looks like your pushing your luck with Adsense, all I see being spun is the page title & anchor-text links (not saying spinning anything on an Adsense site is a good idea), plus a bunch of indexed internal search pages switching out different versions of the same/similar keyword phrases.

I would pick the top 100 highest earning Adsense pages on that one domain over the last few months data, change the spun content to unique legit content, then dump the rest of the pages with a 301 redirect back to the Index page to salvage any existing links/traffic.

No its not the TV one but thanks for looking. That one had TV streams that I had to remove when I feel out with somebody and they were not doing well anyway. I have lots of affiliates for that site and no amount of money would be enough to part with it.
