If you're spending all your time on BlackHatWorld, then beware because I think Google has been as well. They'z comin' after ya!

What should we expect in the next few months in terms of SEO for Google? - YouTube

#search engine optimization #expect #google #summer
  • Of course they are spending time there. And every other SEO / blackhat / IM forum. I'm sure they've been "watching" (for lack of a better term) for years. There was a pretty big thread on this not too long ago.

It's old hat not black hat. That's what Google do. That's what all the major search engines do.
  • Google sucks now by every means either search or adsense. They are becoming rude and careless. IMs already started to looking at other alternatives for google and adsense. So I guess people will be less interested in google and will find the other most effective ways.

As far google, its unexpected in this summer or every summer

The majority of web traffic will never care what IMers are doing, they'll continue searching Google SERPs & clicking Adsense Ads for years.

Your assuming all web traffic thinks like IMers, where IMers are an extremely small percentage of web traffic. I've never heard friends/family complain about Google SERPs, or any type of advertising (besides those mile long squeeze pages).
    • true, i moved on to cpa offers and social networks. who cares about google anymore? not me!!!

    • Agree. There's always a lot of collateral damage when Google makes changes.
  • simple maths works wonder here - $300 dollar software that tries to beat Google or a 8 billion dollar turnover dependent on beating the spammer,

google are always five steps in front.

    • Google Turnover....$8,000,000,000
      Power of My Mind...$80,000,000,000
      For Everything Else...There's Mastercard

Bring it on Google. We've been manipulating you for years. And all the Algo changes in the world won't help you.
  • Yandex (top dog in the Russian search market) made a massive update called MatrixNet in 2009 that I think Google is going to model their update after. They started devaluing links with commercial intent (ex. PayDay Loans, Viagra) especially if they are in large clusters together in the footer of a page as they are in SAPE network. They started monitoring outbound link patterns of websites and devalued those that were constantly changing (as is the case with most link farms).

They also use a lot of machine learning and personalized search, which is obviously something Google is going to incorporate into this update.

Another thing to look for is what they're going to do with the data gathered from their disavow tool. I'm not sure how they will use this data but I've heard whispers that it's going to make a huge impact.

    I'm so nervous lol

    • When there is a will, there is a way.

      Same goes with Google updates.

Mediocre IMers thought that it was impossible to rank new sites in Google post Penguin 1.1 and 1.2. Still people have ranked their websites like a charm.

Strategies like Private blog network and Deep linking is still working.

The thing with private blog network it that, they are totally controllable. I mean if you suspect negative effects of that, you can straight away remove those links.

No matter what Google comes up with in Penguin 2.0 in next few weeks, people will test, make trials, find solutions and will again manipulate rankings.

Google's game is increasing Adwords income and SEOers have to deny it.

With authority sites though, you are less suspect to any updates.

Hope I am not too much controversial here.

      Thanks,
