which locations(countries) should I put adwords?

Hi. I'm running display adwords in US and Canada. Are there other countries or locations I should be using. I want to use ones that can pay in us dollars I guess.

    Everyone can pay in US dollars online. But if you want only those who earn in US dollars then yes, probably focus on US market only.

    It depends what product you sell, how much it costs, for who is that product etc. Too many variables come into play.

    • oh thanks. I'm selling video downloadable products for stock trading. I just wasn't sure if people in UK for instance only could pay in their currency and not in US dollars. Same with Aussie.

  • Is it true that click rate could be cheaper outside of US/Canada? that was my purpose.
    If I could get a cheaper CTR then I could raise my bid and get on more sites. Also increase my standing with google placement ratings..? IN that way my U.S positioning might get better too. (if my ctr goes up).

  • I would be split testing all countries. Just set the language to "english" in all the campaigns.
