When you use categories your posts are displayed in two places within your site, does this impact seo and ranking in google? If so is there a way to fix this issue?

I've read somewhere and nothing called duplicate with categories or tags, but the comments will cause duplication if it has comment pagination.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

Category pages can be great for SEO. It's best if you can add a category description - but you may need to edit your template to display it.

There can be a duplicate content problem with categories and tags. I use Yoast SEO plugin to help solve this issue.

It does not affect anything, except encourage more bantering about
stuff that people know nothing about, cuz they heard a guy who
knows a guy who lives in cave and has a blog..

I've heard it does devalues the ranking power of the main page that is why I used a no index tag on category pages.

Don't noindex a category page, use a canonical tag If needed.

You can still create a unique category page, edit the theme category.php template. Why rank one page when you can rank two pages.
