    Did you make any changes on the website? And what kind of links did you build? Might be possible that you have built low quality links.

    • You haven't told what type of link building strategy you used for those sites. Google mainly focuses on two things how good your content is and what type of links you are carrying.

      You cannot expect to keep a consistent SERP position with low quality contents and some software made web 2.0 and other junk links. If you had these sort of things then what happened with those sites is very obvious.

      Now it is time to check all of your backlinks and remove all the low quality backlinks and start building good quality, relevant backlinks on high PR sites.

      Write quality articles and go for guest posting and all other natural backlink building process. I hope it would help you to recover the lost treasure

  • These drop in positions are caused by Google’s algorithm changes they are almost constantly making, such as the Panda update.
    It will be better if you post your sites URL so we may have a better look at it.

    • I would suggest please look into your webmaster tools and analysis your website status. Then try to optimize your website accordingly.
  • How pushy were you with your backlinking? Explanation of your backlining methods could give us a better idea.

  • Do you see any results if you write:

    site:yourdomain.com

    If yes, then it's Google Dance effect, if no... there is a problem and your sites was blacklisted... In both cases you can just wait and do NOT stop building backlinks!
  • I am not sure whats going on, these sites were not even page 1, they were ranking #30+ in rankings and all 4 disappeared on 17,18, and 19th of may.

    I have used similar strategy to rank sites in past 3-4 months and this has never happened before.
  • Penguin 2.0 is rolling. Getting pages I SEO disappearing but other pages ranking on the same terms... weird
