Private PR network - doubts

Hi guys,

I am planning to build my private small high PR network to improve SEO of my own websites (no commercial usage at all).

Well the approach is simple: going to auctions, analyze the existing domains and try to buy it.

My goal for now its aiming for PR3 websites and for this i have analyzed the PR being real, amount of Backlinks, quality of backlinks, refering domains, age of domain, Domain authority , etc.

My major doubt will be more about the juice of a domain like this will give me being a domain lets say with 100 backlinks and 20-30 refering domains or a domain with 100k backlinks with 5-6k referring domains, in terms of power of the backlink for the money website will have the same result or the one with more backlinks and refering domains (assuming the backlink quality are similar) are better.

I am telling this because the 1st scenario the domains are quite cheap, lets say 20-30 bucks a pop and second scenario should be 5 times more expensive.

So i would like to know what the experts could say about this?

thanks,
Morg

    Hi Morg,

Beside the initial due diligence, I also look at the amount of PR links pointing back to the site you're contemplating. If it has non, then it's very likely to be a dud in the future.

Another trick you can add into your arsenal is to do a site:domain.com search in Google and see if any inner pages have PR. If yes, the value of the domain instantly goes up. All you can do is a plugin such as 404 Redirection to redirect all the pages to the homepage, or you could just recreate the page itself.

On the subject of amount of links... yes it's nice to have a bunch of links, but if they're spammy, it doesn't do you good. I'm happy with fewer good links. I usually aim for at least 100 links in a PR3. For PR4s I amp that up to 1000.

Hit me up if you have more questions, I'd be happy to help

    Cheers
    Pat

    Thanks Pat

And about pricing its worth in an auction to pay 5x more for a domain of the same PR with more domain authority and more backlinks and refering domains?

That´s my core question, since i need to buy 10-20 domains and will need to have a good metric.

    thanks again,
    Morg

If you are patient you can find real good ones. I have bought real pr 4 , even 5 with 20-30 $.

The idea is to check them right and have patience . I have bought lots of them and i have never got wrong... Have luck!

Perhaps not the answer you like to hear but most domains with 100k backlinks from 5-6k referring domains are domains that have been dropped cause they got penalized due to spammy back link practices.

You really don't want to buy such domains in most cases.

      NikO,

My goal is not to rank these high PR domains but using them with thir current PR to create backlinks to my own websites of the relevant niche.

I was checking them with the Cognitive SEO software to check the links quality, well i have saw the a significant % of the links have a good authority what is not bad, but many yeah have been spammed (forum profiles, etc)

But if we compare lets say this domain with a good DA , lets say 45-50 DA with a high PR with near 0 DA and with a half dozen backlinks, probably when i get this High PR domain without many links will drop the remaining links after changing contents , titles, metatags, etc... since there is normally a great drop of backlinks with these changes, so a strong PR domain with enough backlinking will sustain the PR, at least i hope that.

Maybe i am wrong, but thats why i was asking about it.
