      He's referring to the SEOMOZ numbering system, they have numbered each update and make this number 4 but have also acknowledged matt cutts calling it 2.0 internally, which is now the norm as it has come from god himelsf "Matt Cutts"

      Avoid SEO software! Or use Senuke Xcr only if you are an expert! Else... only manual SEO works!

        Wrong.

        If I can replicate with automation 4 hours of manual work in 20 mins why shouldn't I do this? Automating the backlinking process is smart.

        Instead spamming is a whole diffrent story,although there are few smart ways to spam to.

          Unfortunately, search engines have advanced algorithms to detect backlinks generated by software! Here is a few examples to "see" automated generated backlinks:
          - 20 social bookmarks: posted by humans with a latency of minutes (maybe 20 seconds), but posted by software with a latency of 1 - 3 seconds;
          - 50 social networks (usualy blog articles/posts): posted by humans with a latency of hours or days, but posted by software with a latency of minutes;
          - 20 forum posts: posted by humans with a latency of minutes, but by software in a few seconds;
          - etc.

          So, search engines can "see" the time of content posted on social bookmarking websites, blogs, forums, etc, and then they can calculate if these new backlinks are posted by humans or software.

            Sorry, but what you're talking about is crazy...

            Programming is about the utilization of resources - Google struggles to index the internet efficiently now. By that I mean go find every page, catalogue what the pages on that site are about, evaluate their keywords, rank the pages and fit it into their overall ranking index.

            Stop and think about the resources required to actually do what you're suggesting - if I went out and generated five million blog comments it might take me a few days using a variety of automation and services. I could get hundreds of thousands of social bookmarks and whatever else.

            You honestly think Google has the compute power to sit there and go through each of those things and run through some time offset algorithm to make sure they weren't posted within some magical timeframe?

            Google is an algorithm that runs on a very sophisticated network of shared resource computing. To do what you are suggesting would require quantum level computing resources which simply don't exist today.

            Here's a good SEO tip - think about what your saying and run it through the filter of "how complex would that be to achieve" and if it skews out towards something ridiculous, it's highly unlikely that it's possible.

    Completly wrong again.

    Indexing ratio differs from site to site so posting time has nothing to do with this.

    Second thing , fully customizable softwares like zennoposter can be trained to replicate human behavior even with posting times.

    In fact I can guarantee you that I could run your no-follow linkwheels (lol) 24/24h on dozen of websites every day with a software runing in background, with same output.

    It's all about being smart , automation is great if used correctly.

    My new site popped from nowhere to first page after penguin update. It's pretty competitive term with over 50k exact searches per month.

    And what is more interesting, I have only handful of links (~50), but all of them are from highly relevant sources.

    Absolutely loving this update.
